The hotel is a small Gothic castle with good service and beautiful environment. Everything is just right. I like it. If I had time, I would really like to stay a few more days. It is worth coming again!

Hotel muito conveniente para ir às corridas de cavalos de Ascot com um serviço excelente. Situado junto ao rio Tamisa, é um paraíso no meio do campo. Piscina interior e ginásio impecáveis e serviço de resturação muito bom e variado.

Another wonderful stay. Amazing romantic location by the river. The grounds are stunning and felt very well looked after. The staff were attentive and showed a lot of care to make our stay enjoyable. Food was really good and there was something for everyone, it was nice to see some farm to table options on the menu although next time we are going to try and get in to see chef Akira for the sushi tasting menu which looks amazing. The interiors are very inspiring with stylish antique furniture, really looking forward to coming back.

We came back here to celebrate an anniversary having visited 4 years ago!
It is still a stunning venue with beautiful grounds. The joint venture with Soho House has uplifted some of the decor etc. but in terms of service it has been a significant decline.
On first introduction the staff uniform feels in stark contrast with the style of venue and tone trying to be set and did not say '5 star hotel' more Holiday Inn Express.
The room refurbishment is lovely, some art on the the very empty walls would be welcome and a larger TV considering how far it is away would also improve it. Also worth noting, if you're over 5' 10 you won't fit under the shower.
The spa wasn't being used by any guests, the pool and hot tub were amazing.
The dinner service is again very casual, sit anywhere etc. the staff were nowhere to be seen and when you did find someone they had no clue about the menu itself and considering the prices that's pretty disappointing.
The breakfast equally, you have to push to get something a la carte other than the buffet which was enormously overpriced considering what was available.
Overall, wonderful being able to revisit, the building is still stunning and the redecoration makes each space of the hotel enjoyable but the service throughout was poor and that is such a big part of the hotel experience.
