It was a terrible experience. The hotel is mixed with overnight guests and people sort of living there paying monthly rates?
Some person staying in room right next door actually knocked on my door, after midnight! Asking for "a light"!
For what I can only imagine.
Totally freaked me out. I said no through the closed door.
THEN overnight, multiple times and from 4 am on, someone was pacing in the hallway outside my door!!!
It turns out could have been one of these residents with some sort of dimentia?? Or other mental condition.
When I asked the lady why she couldn't separate me or the regular overnight guests from these residents, she said because there's scattered around the building.
Obviously I will never stay there ever again.
The woman behind the desk was actually very sweet. But whatever they're doing from an ownership standpoint and a policy standpoint of mixing overnight, guests with these residents is obviously unacceptable and creep

Stains in toilet, shower, carpet, and bedding. TV remote was sticky. Table tops were sticky. Door was misaligned so couldn't use secondary lock. Towels were stained. Water pressure was bad.

The check-in went smoothly and the room was comfortable. This was the fifth hotel on a six night six city visit to Illinois. Of the five hotels, this and another Quality Inn (Choice Hotel) have proven to be a better choice for overall comfort, cleanliness, and state of repair.

Bathroom: no counter space, one area on a wall looked like it was repaired but was not painted, and shower had no shelf and had marks on a wall where something had been removed,

People outside at night being loud. First floor room window had no screen or lock. No water pressure in shower and had to let it run for 20 minutes just to get warm.

AC unit worked very well and had good TV channels. A decent sense of security with cameras covering all around the premises. Unfortunately the mini fridge wasnt running or plugged in when I got to my room only to find it wasn't functional at all after waiting a few hours. Some of the staff working and living there were rowdy lots of slamming doors and noises almost every 10 minutes it seemed and even after 12pm. Also the walls and doors to each room were seemingly paper thin. Other guests blasted their TV's on max volume making it difficult to sleep.There was no alternate access through the nearest exit to get back into building with keycard (exit only) had to walk all the way around the property after exiting to get back to my room.

This is possibly the best equiped service I have experienced so far! The rooms are immaculately done and the check in process was quick and thorough Hot. breakfast every morning and the staff is right there if you need anything. Excellent experience.
