We had a wonderful stay at The Herwood Inn celebrating our brother's birthday. They found out it was his birthday and hung up a birthday banner in his room and some beer to celebrate. It was such a thoughtful touch and he appreciated the thoughtfulness. The place itself was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the convenience of the location and being able to have a small kitchenette with all the utensils should you want to cook something. The kids loved the hot tub and fire pit which they used every night. It was exactly the relaxing family getaway we were looking for!

Great Boutique Hotel located in Woodstock NY. 10 minute walk to the main drag with all the shops and eateries. Code is emailed prior to gain room access. There’s a hot tub and bikes to use as well. Sheets are high end Brooklinen, robes are Quince and Towels are from Parachute. Great touches! Only qualms - there’s no shower door or curtain so if you take a shower you’ll wet the entire floor. Also, there’s no place to put your clothes - I.e. no bureau or dresser. Oddly there’s a full set of cookware, yet no stove or burners LOL. Not sure why you need a dishwasher and no dresser? Seems weird to me!

Our stay at Herwood Inn was absolutely fantastic! The rooms had a beautiful design that made us feel cozy and pampered. The jacuzzi was a definite highlight, offering the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Plus, the location was ideal, as we could easily walk to town. We had an amazing experience and highly recommend this gem of a place!

I had the pleasure of staying at this chic Inn during my wedding weekend. We had a great stay. The rooms are each unique and beautifully decorated, yet the overall vibe of the property welcoming and unpretentious. Adam, one of the owners, was incredibly helpful both leading up to and during our stay. Because there are not a ton of hotel options in, I had the opportunity to see where other guests were staying for the weekend and I can confidently say that the Herwood Inn is the best both in terms of value and location.
