The room is tidy, the environment is beautiful, quiet, and it's a roadside shop. It's very convenient to drive in and out.

Booked for two nights while visiting Oxford, Woodstock and Blenheim Palace.
The accommodation and location fitted the bill perfectly. Although out of Oxford we had good good routes to all our destinations and the Park and Rides were beneficial.
Accommodation as expected - good standard. Dined there one evening - food good and well presented.
All staff we encountered were: pleasant, friendly and helpful.
Recommended - would book again.

The price is very favorable, but more basic. The people who run it are friendly and the food is good. It is very close to Bicester Village. It is recommended that friends who rent a car consider shopping + accommodation.

Lovely place to stay after a day shopping at Bicester village. Rooms are OK but really need updating. Walls very dirty and ceiling could all do with a lick of paint. Bathroom very old and mouldy and toilet leaked. Front door also had mould all along the bottom. No blackout curtains, so room very light. That said staff were very helpful and bed comfy. Had a lovely indian meal in the restaurant in evening and a delicious cooked breakfast in the morning, all cooked to order. Could be a 5 star with a bit of rennovatikn

Had a lovely stay at Sturdy Castle, comfy bed, quiet area, good breakfast, we were well looked after. Food, especially the Indian food was top notch. Would recommend for a few nights stay. Would definitely come back if in the area. Well done everyone!

Absolutely fantastic stay! I was not able to book the hotel I have previously stayed at when I attend the Nocturne Concerts so booked this as an alternative,.it will not be an alternative again, first choice from now on. Staff were friendly and polite from the get go, room was clean and very comfortable, quiet throughout the night. Breakfast was plentiful and and very tasty (I am a vegetarian and they catered for me very well) After the concert I was back in my room within 15 mins of leaving the venue (maximum) Ideal base for local attractions/sightseeing. A real gem of a find, could not have been happier with my stay.

Only two little issues wooden chair in bedroom had large stain oin it and there was no power sockets near bed

Great place to stay and eat, varied menu with both pub classics and Indian food Sayed with friends, we experienced good meals, drink and accommodation good location to explore the local area including Blenheim Palace, Woodstock and Oxford
