I just arrived from a two nights stay in Dorint Wuertzburg. What really gave me a bad feeling from the moment of arriving was the unfriendliness of the staff but foremost the woman who I met when entering the hotel. She pointed out immediately that my room was not ready yet and the I had to wait an hour. of course this can happen but why giving me a bad feeling when I, as a guest, talk to you in a friendly way? She didn't give me any arrival information about breakfast etc and I had to question her about everything. She apparently didn't understand my question opbouwt occupancy for an extra night and ignored me. Im sorry but every time afterwards I saw that person at the frontdesk I froze. Checkout was slightly better but again, no information given at all. Communication and hospitality seem to be an issue at the front desk. They should not forget that they are representing their hotel. Food and beverage staff was more friendly, luckily. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast ample, even luxurious in what was offered buffet style. Location is good, 10 minutes walk to Altstadt. Parking lot is under the hotel at rate of 24euro per day.

Das Hotel ist neu renoviert und die Lage ist Ok. Tiefgarage sehr sehr eng und mit 24€ sehr teuer, ringsum nur Anwohner Parken. Warum ich dem Hotel Mangelhaft gebe, liegt am schlechten Umgang mit Gästen bei Störungen im Hause. Am Morgen gab es kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen, eiskalt. Anruf bei der Rezeption um nachzufragen ob es alternativ andere Zimmer mit warmen Wasser gibt, oder wann der Schaden behoben sein wird. Die Dame antwortete zunächst, sie verstehe die Frage nicht, unglaublich, wenn doch bekannt ist, dass im Hause kein warmes Wasser vorhanden ist. Also Duschen unmöglich weil das Wasser richtig eiskalt war. Später an der Rezeption beim Check out noch einmal beschwert, da hatte die Dame die Ohren auf "Durchzug" gestellt. Einzige Antwort: das Haus ist neu renoviert, das kann schon mal vorkommen, die Klimaanlage funktioniert aber. Ihre Kollegin, die sich gerade die Beschwerde eines anderen Gastes anhörte, meinte nur: haha, das ist im ganzen Haus so, die haben alle kein warmes Wasser. Also ist es dann nur halb so schlimm oder was? Klar kann immer eine technische Störung auftreten, was ich in diesem Hause unmöglich finde, ist der Umgang mit den Gästen in so einer Situation. Da hätte ich schon ein entgegenkommen erwartet. Ich habe schließlich den vollen Preis für ein teilweise nicht funktionierendes Zimmer gezahlt. Da hätte man vielleicht wenigstens die Tiefgarage oder das Frühstück nicht berechnen müssen. Aber es gibt in Würzburg ja auch noch das Maritim ;-)

We arrived and couldn't stay overnight. The hotel is currently being renovated!

Well located hotel in the center of Wurzburg. Aimed at business travelers. Engaged and friendly staff. The room is small and tired but ok. The breakfast good with nice selection. Recommended as a transit hotel.

Good location, can walk to the old town, the room is a bit cramped, the mattress and pillows are good, there is a capsule coffee maker, good taste, the breakfast is expensive and not worth it. I recommend walking to the supermarket to buy it. It's not too far away. Opens at 7:00 a.m., much cheaper. Parking is the most expensive part of the trip. The way down is very dangerous. You need two people to help you look left. It's a narrow, spiraling way down.

A very nice comfortable hotel with a great location in Würzburg. The check-in was fast and easy with a friendly staff member working at the front desk. The entire stay was enjoyable, and the room was very quiet and comfortable. A quick 10–15-minute walk gets you to the city center or the train station. The view from the room was really nice as well. Everything was perfect! Would stay here again next time and recommend it to anyone that is visiting Würzburg.

Room was clean, beds were really comfortable due to high quality matless.
Location was good due to not so far from center of city.
We were confused to reach to hotel because name was not Novotel but Dorint Hotel Würzburg..
You must book with breakfast during reservation process if you want to eat, since the price will be much more expensive when you ask at front desk (we were told 19 euros per each, although it would be approx 13 euros when you purchased during reservation process, so we didn’t order.)
