A Small House in Huangling, Wuyuan

The room facilities are limited. If you come here to experience local life or customs, you won't care too much, especially if you look at the room price. The boss is very enthusiastic and straightforward. He is proactive and direct in picking up and helping with inquiries. His meals are reasonably priced and have a local home-style taste. They are very delicious. The bacon and bamboo shoots and steamed pork with rice flour are amazing!

I booked the room one month in advance. I contacted the inn to confirm it one day in advance and contacted them several times on the day, but the boss never told me that the room was gone. We waited for 3 hours at the tourist center at the foot of the mountain before someone was arranged to pick us up the mountain. When we got to the room, it was completely different from the photo, and it was a public bathroom, which was completely different from the private bathroom room I booked. After I asked, I was told that the inn I booked was full and other inns were temporarily arranged. First of all, there will be no rooms booked, which is full of uncertainty. Secondly, the boss did not tell the guests in good faith from beginning to end that there was no room, nor did he arrange other rooms of the same level to replace it. There was no apology. I gave this hotel 0 points. But I want to give 5 points to the inn that replaced it, because the boss is a local, very good person. Seeing that we have old and young, we can't live in the room with a public bathroom, so he gave us his room to live in. His own room has an independent bathroom. At 11 o'clock in the evening, he temporarily cleaned the room for us so that we can live in it, which solved the urgent problem.

The service was good. We arrived late and they cooked dinner for us. However, the facilities in the room we originally booked were broken, so we had to change the room temporarily. There were a lot of stink bugs in the room, and we fought for a long time. I can only say that the boss is nice and enthusiastic. He helped us book a car.

The B&B is halfway up the mountain. The boss will take us to the ropeway. The B&B here offers discounts on Huangling tickets. The boss is very welcoming, the room is clean and tidy, the food is delicious and the price is not very expensive. We can play in Huangling at night. At nine o'clock, you can walk a short distance and then turn around and return to the B&B. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

If nothing else, I would like to praise this family. It is a complete farmhouse. The people in the B&B are very nice and warm, but the environmental requirements should not be too high.

The original idea was to live in the mountains and walk around Tianjie in Huangling at night, but the scenic spot was not open at night. I thought I could save on the ropeway ticket, but it turned out that the ticket without the ropeway actually cost 130--the package of the ropeway and tickets at the bottom of the mountain was only 140. I feel that this ticket policy is simply unreasonable. Who wants to live in the mountains if this continues?

The hotel's hygiene is okay. It is recommended that you don't enter the scenic spot when you arrive at Huangling at night. If you go in the next day, you can also save money on the cable car. The Huangling ticket is only valid for that day. The only bad experience was that I told my boyfriend about checking in at night. We waited at the scenic spot for nearly an hour with our suitcases, but the store didn’t even find us.
