I've been in Oz for 4 years and not had this quality steak dinner at a pub or restaurant until now. At the moment, with the current kitchen staff, this is easily as good as any steak in Oz. Excellent cuts of meat and perfectly cooked.

We were so impressed with the accommodation at The Grand Hotel. Accommodation was stylish, clean and bed was so comfy. Friendly staff. Food was great. A short walk from the Art House Theatre where we saw Ian Moss perform. We will definitely be back.

Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids under 5 overnight on the way to gold coast. We will NOT be staying again. The room was dirty, bins not emptied, hair on pillows and in bathroom. My youngest found a nut on the floor and put it in his mouth ( there from previous peoples Snickers bar, saw wrapper in the bin) luckily he's not allergic. The food from the restaurant was very nice but the hotel was horrible.

A great experience, beautifully renovated hotel and perfect if you’re here for a short stay visiting town. The new renovations make this a comfortable, modern, clean and great experience. Aircon, brand new amenities, modern bathroom and really well presented.

This place was awesome! I’ve stayed here before about 5 years ago and it was pretty basic. It’s had reno’s done and itts prob the best accomodation in a pub I’ve come across. The reno’s have taken this place to another level. TBH, I wasn’t expecting much, but the rooms are beautifully done. The restaurant downstairs was great too. Very reasonably priced.

Tiny room just fit bed and shelves as “furniture “ No armchair. Plastic cutlery. Overhead rain shower got bathroom floor wet. In fact, it was wet when we first went in (?)!! Below car park like a bunker facing cement brick wall. No vanity. Just bathroom sink. At least the king bed was fine although only 2 pillows. A very “ungrand” hotel.

This accommodation was well located for the wedding we were attending. The rooms were clean, comfortable & well maintained. The staff from check- in to caretakers were very helpful & could not do enough for us. The hotel served great meals & provided a very enjoyable atmosphere- would definitely stay again & recommend to others.
