Xi＇an Hotels with Pools

We loved staying at the Sofitel Renmin Square. Rooms very beautiful and very spacious. Staff was extremely kind and attentive (special thanks to William who was very helpful in finding restaurants and booking tours). Breakfast was fantastic and varied with both Western and Chinese options.

When I checked in I was given free room upgrade for my eight days stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the house keeping staff,they have a great smile all the while . When the FREE laundry was occupied and I can’t wait there, the staff volunteered to help me to wash and dry the clothing out and even iron the cloth for me. It was really surprising me. Sanitizing wipes and disposable bath towel, a map ,fruits and cookies as a free gift from the Hotel Manager together with a welcoming note. The hotel location is great, bus stop just in front the hotel and you can take the bus to many tourist attractions for 2RMB only. The subway station also near by abt 5 minutes walk for me. There is a musical fountain performance just opposite the hotel starting from 6.15pm to 6.45pm(abt that time). Besides that many restaurant just next to hotel and the food is delicious with reasonable price. The swimming pool and gym are closed for maintainance during my stay until 31 of Oct. That was a little disappointment but the staff suggest to exercise at the park opposite the hotel as an alternative. All the amenities was provided except hair conditioner. It was a great experience to staying here, Definitely I will stay again in this hotel for my next visit and I will recommend it to my friends too.

When we check in, my wife and me were very pleased with the utmost courtesy and speedy check in we received from the front office manager, Miss Kitty Shang whose professionalism is without doubt. She went the extra length in finding my Hilton Honors membership. We will happy with the cleanliness and housekeeping service throughout our stay. We were more impressed even when she extended the kind assistance during our checkout and giving tips and advice on our next visit. We received a well packed chocolate Terracota warrior which make our day more than happy to stay at this Hilton hotel at 199 Dongxin street, Xian. As we are visiting xi’an again, we will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you Miss Kitty Shang, you make my stay pleasant and happy throughout with your service.

On the way to the hotel, I was already attracted by the beautiful Chan River and Ba River. When I entered the lobby, the colleagues of Amy were very enthusiastic. Although there were guests queuing when checking in, the concierge asked me kindly if I had luggage and the front desk ladies quickly checked me in and arranged a room with a nice view for me. Jenny at the front desk was very enthusiastic to tell me about the special attractions around. I went there the next day and they were all in line with the culture and customs of Xi'an, the ancient capital of 13 dynasties. Yuly solved any room needs for me in a timely manner. Excellent location beside the Grand Tang Everbright City and Wild Goose Pagoda with many vibrant night activities as well as amenities like convenient stores, local Chinese fast food places, Starbucks cafe and many restaurants etc. The interior and furniture can be a bit worn-off but overall very comfortable with an exceptional hugh bathroom with a bathtub and seperate toilet and shower. Top up for the buffet breakfast during one of our 4-day stay. It was superb and tasty with a wide range of local and international spread. The pastries were really good.

Not our first trip to Gran Melia, definitely not our last. Best hotel for the price. Location is good and all staff super friendly and helpful. We loved our stay.

My wife and I decided to visit Xi'an for her birthday from November 30th to December 4th, 2023, and we chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt Xi'an during that time. In short, it is an exceptional hotel, offering super delicious breakfast with a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. For examples, the gentleman in the front door of the hotel always welcomed us with very beautiful smile, the lady who took care of our room every day, displaying meticulous attention to detail that never failed to surprise us. The employees at the Italian restaurant were exceptionally kind, going above and beyond to provide extraordinary care and respect. When they discovered it was my wife's birthday, they surprised us with a small cake, decorated our table with balloons, and even offered us complimentary cocktails. Furthermore, the staff in the Lounge went out of their way to help me arrange a surprise birthday cake for my wife. They decorated the table with great care and passion, and even presented her with a thoughtful gift and a postcard, sharing their kind wishes with us. I almost forgot to mention that they also surprised me by offering a birthday cake when I was in my room. So, we ended up with three birthday cakes in one night that gave us the opportunity to share our joy and share a slice of happiness with the incredible staff. These are just some examples of their great team of their staff. Without doubt, I would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Xi'an.

Special mention to the Housekeeper Jing Jing who is very friendly and gave good advise on the tickets to Museum of the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang and helped to arrange for the Everlasting Sorrows Show. She managed to find me discounted tickets. She also send us off after checkout and gave some souvenirs. Hotel Breakfast is sumptuous with a lot of variety. The check in process could be better and they only changed the room type but not the bed type though I booked wrongly on Trip. Hot Springs was a little disappointing, only single entry even though I bought the package and the pools are not really unique. Nonetheless still a very pleasant stay!

Very good service. Perfect professional service from all hotel staffs. Specially, I got to know the hotel staffs Marshall, Edward, and Gary because I had something to ask, and I thank them for their careful consideration of hotel pickup service and hotel use ...Also, Sarah and Joyce in club lounge had such a good attitude.Today is my last day of New Year's vacation and I'm so happy to be here and very satisfied. It's a good hotel that doesn't need any explanation.In front of the hotel, in the lobby, and on each floor, sculptures and paintings by Chinese, Korean, and Japanese artists are displayed. Personally, I like Korean artist, Son Bongchae's painting in the center of hotel lobby. I strongly recommend this Ritz Carlton in Xian.The best hotel in Xian.
