It is a hidden party with very few comments. The room is very clean and comfortable, and the decoration is small and fresh. I met this famous hotel in Gulangyu Island when I was traveling alone. I love this hotel so much. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in on the island, no doubt about it! Whether it is location, environment, style, service, hygiene, all aspects are excellent! Breakfast and afternoon tea are all handmade, the ingredients are fresh and high-quality, the materials are exquisite, the luggage pick-up service is heart-warming, the good night milk will be careful to whether it is full fat or skim, with sugar or sugar-free, cold or hot, if you can send 100 photos, it will be great, it is really the details that determine success or failure. Lilac Garden is really a paradise. After the hotel reservation was successful, the butler brother contacted me and reminded me to buy the ferry ticket to Gulangyu Island in advance, and also sent me a detailed route map after disembarking. Although I have a long way to go to the hotel The feeling of returning home, but when I saw Lilac Garden and stayed in the room, I really lived up to the Tathagata and lived up to you, everything was worth it! Gulangyu Island is known as the Museum of Architecture of All Nations, and the green space covers more than 40% of the area. Because it is a small island, people come to Gulangyu Island to play on foot. It is really suitable for a few days to experience the slow life of Gulangyu Island! Lilac Garden is a villa hotel with a good price/performance ratio. The hardware facilities are complete and the environment is clean and tidy. When I checked in, the butler brother gave me a tourist map of Gulangyu Island. There is a little secret, the hotel’s breakfast is prepared by the owner, Uncle Thirteen himself, and the real ingredients are delicious and delicious! There are also two cute babies in the yard, the one with gray straps is called Liangliang, and the one with green straps is called Messi. They fight non-stop every day, hahaha! After living in the city for a long time, I hope to find a quiet place with an alarm clock. I have been to Gulangyu several times. This is the first time I live on the island, and I am alone. Not long after I got off the plane, I received a call from the hotel. After adding WeChat, I was told a detailed map and route map for easy search. Although there is navigation today, such thoughtfulness is still particularly heartwarming. After arriving at the hotel, the staff saw that I was a little tired and upgraded my room. It is worth mentioning that they asked me about the cruise time on WeChat before, and turned on the air conditioner in advance, so that the moment I entered the room, the cool feeling was refreshing. The hotel is a historic villa with a quiet environment and historical precipitation. Each corridor, aisle, and staircase has some small landscape sculptures, which are full of life interest. Although it is very close to the bustling Longtou Road and Fuzhou Road, it is very quiet at night and I slept until dawn. There is a circular staircase. WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too.
The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay.
The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself.
Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open.
The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc.
In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

He was amazingly polite and I truly appreciated his effort to make our stay as comfortable as can be.
The hotel is amongst the best in the region and I was given a room with sea view.
Highly recommend this hotel to those who love a great view and impeccable service.

The double room was too close to the elevator. I was afraid that our children would not be able to sleep well. I'm very satisfied with the fact that my room was facing the Zhongshan Road. I felt quite lucky cause I could see the view of Zhongshan Road every morning and night just from my room window.
Service: Quite friendly, especially the cleaning and the restaurant staff. They are so kind to me and my father.
Although there was a little problem in communication since I can't speak Chinese well, I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Hotel.

EExpatThis hotel was priced above average considering the time of year and the neighboring hotels. I cannot say that my stay was very good here because of a few things. When I checked in the procedure for passport and everything was completed. They had to do the process again later that night. The water did go out while I stayed there but they fixed it within 20 minutes. The neighboring hotel and beach were doing construction, so I had lots of noise going on out my window early in the morning. The location is good because it’s close to the beach, however the dining advertised is at the hotel next to it. I did ask the Trip.com app to update the information for the hotel because the breakfast included was not what they would typically serve because they confirmed it depended on the number of guests. I could not eat the food that they offered me and they were not willing to adjust the price. trip.com offered me trip coins, however my overall stay here was disappointing because even the car gate was having delays. There were things such as maybe teabags or cotton swabs that I asked to have in the room, but none of those are offered. The view is very nice. The cleaning staff is very friendly. However their breakfast area was just an empty banquet room with empty shaving dishes and they had a family temporally making plates of whatever they decided. I definitely think this hotel needs to have some love and attention, especially considering that the neighboring hotels are upgrading their properties. I feel that the rates should’ve been lower considering all of the construction in the walkways behind the hotel. I honestly have no clue have dinner was available or not. I saw a total of three staff members there and then the family of three making the place of breakfast in the two days. The price of the hotel changed by 200 yuan in Trip.com in less than 12 hours on the day that I reserved. Only difference was that breakfast was not included.

GGuest UserMy elderly mom and I visited Xiamen for a 5D4N private trip. Booked Millennium Harbourview Hotel again on the 3rd and 4th day stay due to the superb and convenient location.
When we reached the hotel around 4 pm, we were greeted by a hotel staff wearing a black coat. He helped us to push our luggage bags from the main entrance until our room. We really appreciate his kindness.
From the hotel, turn right and walk along the road until you cross the traffic light and reach the end, turn right again until you reach Heping Wharf to onboard the ship for Lujiang night tour. 20 mins walk. There's 2 sessions available, 7.30 pm & 8 pm. It cost RMB109 perpax. The night tour took around 1 hour to finish.
The sky in Xiamen started to get bright at 5 am. If you can wake up early, this is the best time to go out and walk around the hotel surrounding area. It's cool and windy. It's a good time to take photos as only a few people and cars are on the street. It's very peaceful and safe to walk along the road. We didn't see any cat, dog, or birds on the street.
A 30 mins walk to Haibin Park to see the sea and Gulangyu Island. You may also rent a bicycle that is available at the roadside in front of the hotel.
There's many local food roadside stalls available in front of the hospital beside the hotel.
We requested the hotel staff to arrange a taxi to send us to airport T3 during checkout. The whole process took around 7 mins, from checkout until we board the taxi. We really appreciate the front door staff dressed in red uniform to call for the taxi and helped us to upload our luggage bags in the car. The journey to the airport took around 30 mins and cost us RMB50.
I hope the hotel management can consider changing the room mattress as it's too old. The pillow is too flat. Good for sleep but not for resting. The room is very clean, but the wooden headboard frame was sticky when i lay my head on it. The bathroom rain shower head needs a fix as cold water dripping down when i'm using the handheld showerhead.

The room layout is relatively simple, with a washing machine and refrigerator, the bathroom is relatively clean, and takeout is also very convenient.
