She checked with us and actually followed us to the door of the room and shouted at the room. ”Xiao Yang!” When no one answered, he told us that we could enter. This operation was too confusing. The design of the small refrigerator and the water bar was unreasonable and crowded! finally! When I left, I left something in the room. I called to confirm. The hotel actually told us that we didn't find our things when cleaning the room. Forget it, it's not a particularly valuable thing, but I have to write this feeling! Hope the hotel can strengthen management! The only advantage is that the room has a bathtub, which the kids love!

A good stay at the Mercure. The location is bit away from the more happening part of the city. Rooms were clean. However the bathroom kits need to be.checked before guests arrive. The front desk was amazing for check in and check out. The breakfast buffet was good. However, care needs to be taken to refill finished items. At the Mercure, its.important to pay attention to these details.

Great hotel situated nearby the Wanda mall and Tangdao walking street. I was impressed with how stunning the hotel is and pre-arrival experience was really remarkable. It is according to what I expected from Sofitel Hotel; however, my experience this time didn't reach my expectation. First, I was asked to pay CNY99 in order to use the swimming pool even if I already said that I was staying there. Second, the air-conditioner was not cool enough. I asked the staff to help me adjust it, but it seemed not work well. I slept with sweating all night. Lastly, I asked concierge to recommend me where I could find the night walking street and street food, but the answer I got was to search the word ”Tangdao” by myself. This is unacceptable. I wouldn't expect concierge to just provide me this simple answer. I can even do that by myself. What was the point from seeking for the recommendation from concierge? I have seen that one of them even got Les Clefs d'Or so that I expected the whole team to provide me something beyond my expectation. Please consider this issue. Thank you very much.

The room is comfortable and there are free snacks and air sterilizers of the group brand inside. The location is about 30 minutes by bus from the high-speed rail station. Next to it is the busy pedestrian street, food street and bus station. There is an airport bus stop 20 minutes away on foot, and life and transportation are very convenient

We were impressed by the front desk staff n grateful for Celine the manager. She helped us to get transport to go to Qinghai lake. She was able to speak English and make communication easier for us. We had a wonderful and memorable time in Xining. We hope to come back again.

Pros: 1) Location right beside train station and bus station. 2) Many eateries around the hotel 3) Room is clean and spacious Cons: 1) No aircon. I know it is cool during summer in Xining as well but i think it is a basic requirement for aircon in a hotel. A fan is provided but i think it is not a welcome sight for a hotel with a fan.
