Hotels near Qunjia National Forest Park, Xining

Good locale. Service staff excellent! Breakfast spread worth the value. Hotel changes their menu and not repeat all the same items. However they should look into the coffee bean maker as it was really slow to churn out a good cup of coffee! Could be that the piping needs to be checked or even cleaned out!? Overall, it was a good experience. Hallway to the rooms lighting uses sensor, which perhaps need to be adjusted, as it requires heavy stomping of the feet to light up. Thanks!

Excellent stay and highly recommended. It's about 20 mins walk from Xining Railway station. Located along Qiyi七一路 street. Opposite the hotel are nice food shops. Take a short walk to the busy street behind the hotel which takes about 15 minutes. You may walk towards your left side as you come out from the hotel main door. Turn left again and walk 250m until you reach the traffic light, turn left and walk up the hill until you come to the main busy area. The Dongguan Grand Muslim Mosque is located some where around this area, too. The local people are very friendly and willing to show you the directions. ChaoMan hotel room is clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed here for two nights. The breakfast provided has a wide range of fried vegetables, fried rice, Chinese buns and pastries. The most welcoming staff made our stay so memorable. Kudos to all of you and I've included their picture in this post. They helped us with our travels to popular sightseeing places and most of all, they got us a reasonable price for transfer to the airport at 65 yuan. Thank you all of you at ChaoMan! I'll surely come again when I visit Xining and will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

The location is very good, very close to Dongguan Temple. There are many commercial hotel facilities nearby. The room is clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the service is very good. I was given a free room upgrade when I brought an elderly child with me. The TV remote control was not there It was quickly replaced with a new one. The hotel is equipped with a laundry room and simple fitness facilities. Bringing a lot of convenience to long-distance travelers

The hotel is right on the railway station square and 15-20 minutes walk to the DongGuan Road market. My train arrived at 10 o'clock in the morning and I planned to leave my luggage with the front desk and check-in at the designated time; I was pleasantly shocked the hotel accommodated me and gave me a room right away. My room is large and has a nice view of the railway square.

The room itself in the hotel was amazing and especially considering the price we paid. 10/10. There is a small convenience store next door at the bottom, which makes it easy to get essentials. There is a man, I didn't get his name. He was on night shifts at the front desk with glasses and was by far the most helpful hotel receptionist I've ever met. These things make me look back very fondly on my stay at Sanyu.

I don't like the layout of the room. The door is facing the head of the bed. (Usually the door faces the side of the bed). It was almost 10 o'clock in the evening when I arrived at the hotel. Especially for new guests, won't they upgrade the room type? The hotel has many advantages. The bed feels great to sleep on, and the toiletries are also very good! After all, it is a four-star hotel, and it has all the hardware configurations it should have. The breakfast is also rich. The staff are also sufficient. If there is a chance, I will stay there next time, but the premise is that I can take the initiative to upgrade the room type.

Great location for a modern hotel with nice healthy food buffet breakfast and good espresso machine COFFEE. Location close to Xining Railway station and 3 km walking distance to the Muslim old quarters where variety fruits, potato snacks, breads, and hand pulled noodles to try. The staff not conversant in English but with google translate on my phone, had no issue conveying my written message. Luv the flexibility of early check in and later check outs that made our stay memorable and highly recommended to tourist to explore Xining and catch the later evening train. Our room tv movie box was not working, no international English channels and strong wind cause ceiling boards to rattle for a while. This small issues to us as we are seldom in the room but outside exploring. Special thanks to staff Ms. Yun Yan for the farewell milk candies gift and delightful fruits basket during our stay. Highly recommended to all to stay here to catch the Xining trains or central Bus stations nearby.

We are travelling through Gansu & Sichuan and I booked the Mercure as a couple of nights for my husbands birthday. The first room we got was OK, a little shabby and not the cleanest but a nice bed and sofa and the aircon seemed good. My husband took a shower for all of 30 seconds and the bathroom, corridor and toilet completely flooded. So we moved rooms. The next room didn't flood but the aircon was pretty feeble and the toilet cubicle smelled. We didn't complain, having already moved once. This room was an over all improvement. The breakfast was pretty miserable, no coffee and mostly Chinese dishes. I had expected more from a western brand but nevermind, we ordered coffee and food to the room. Plus points - The staff are very nice and friendly, they accommodated us on the new room and gave us some treats as an apology. The bus to Kumbum Monastery is directly across from the hotel and you can arrive there in 45 mins, public bus number 909, 4¥. Starts at 6:30am. The breakfast is OK. There is a free laundry room, we did lots of laundry and it dried over night. We stayed in a non smoking room and it really was non smoking which is rare for China. It smelt fresh and the bedding and towels did not smell of smoke. There were however people smoking everywhere else in the hotel which seems quite common expecially in this province. Overall, I would stay here again but I think the price is a little high for the offering in comparison to some Chinese brands in the city.

The rooms at the Sofitel were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the room's design and furnishings, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. The comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep, and the well-appointed bathroom offered all the necessary amenities. The hotel's dining options were equally impressive. The on-site restaurant served a wide variety of delicious local and international cuisines. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive, offering a generous selection of dishes to satisfy all tastes. I also enjoyed dining at the hotel's bar. One highlight of my stay was the attentiveness and genuine care shown by the hotel staff. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay.

During the May Day holiday, I brought my children to this hotel. The service was super good. They also prepared a lot of toys and children's products for the children. The breakfast was great and rich, and there were children's tableware. The front desk service was very timely, and the things we asked for were delivered in a short time. The room was large and had a sofa bed. The waiter would open it in advance, which was very considerate and clean. The children liked this hotel very much. This was the most comfortable place to stay during this trip. Recommended
