I just about 5-7 minutes walk from the station. Is really a nice hotel. Looks very new and room size is good. I really like the restaurant downstairs. The beef is one of the best I ever have. Also discount for hotel guests. Same restaurant for breakfast.

We were really happy to stay in this hotel. The location was very central and connected with other mean of transportations (busses and trains) which is very beneficial if you are going to visit Zao Onsen or Ginzan Onsen. They also connected to this mall S-Pal (with supermarkets and small resto). The room very clean and full with amenities. The staff really helpfull. No complain at all.

I used it at work. It was conveniently located near the station, with a convenience store and supermarket nearby. I will use it again. Thank you.

A few days before the holiday of the sea day, I arrived at this inn to find a place to take Wanko in a hurry. When I was single, and I took my child, and the Zao Onsen ski area came many times in winter as the whole mountain genre map was in my head. I never came to summer, but the child also stood up and came to summer for the first time as a place where the couple could play. This inn is the first time. I imagine that I was so busy at the height of skiing, but now I am working hard with corporate efforts to make pets possible according to the age, and it is an old inn. But it was clean and there was no dust, such as corridors, stairs, and shelves in the room. The staff was also nice. It is full of privileges, such as two meals for 10000 yen per person, and the source of the source, and the three joint baths in the hot spring town are free and the Zao Onsen large open-air bath becomes discount, and it is full of privileges, and it is possible to stay with Wanko It was a super happy inn with Wanko. We stayed for 2 nights with two couples from June 18. The room was a large room of 30 square meters of Japanese bed on the 3 floor, and there were 2 elevators, convenient, old and weak feet. Dinner was delicious for two days with a great kaiseki dish with a good appearance and a variety of ingredients. The hot springs were in the inner bath and the open air, respectively, with a milky white bath with a rich sulfur fragrance. I was able to use it in a cheap plan, but I want to take care of it again next time.

The minor problem is that the door lock is very difficult to be unlocked. There is instruction to turn counter clockwise but it looks like sometimes work sometimes don’t work. Otherwise excellent.

The location is good. Room is decent equipped with heater that I think is time to replace seems not working very well. The breakfast and dinner especially is very worth n nice. First night we had pork shabu shabu n second night lamb BBQ. The staffs in restaurants r friendly n good, especially the old uncle n Philippo lady . Can see all the local staffs sort of rely or keep letting the lady work only as she speak english. In other words, a bit taking advantage of her. onsen is also nice especially the outdoor with trees n snow feel. The front desk staffs r very bad. There is one young guy that just stand there and when I carry my little girl with one hand while another hand pushing luggage where I need to push the entrance door. During check in, even the philipino girl helped to push the luggage inside while the same guy just stand there n look. Another more serious attitude guy was the older shorter guy with mole on his face, I parked my car in front as there was no parking didn't know is the hotel's van lot, the guy spoke with to remove the car like scolding n yelling at me. Super bad attitude. Lastly the air filter in the room, the cleaning standard operating procedure should include cleaning the water tank n it's surrounding. Looks very dirty with mold. Overall is worth your money n experience just some negative experiences by some bad staffs. Not missing another issue is the smoking room, is the exactly at the entrance n next to the welcome drinks sofa (though with ventilation n dedicated room but still can smell the smoke)

There is no doubt that it is a first-class inn! It is an inn with great employee education. It's been a while since I've been in the room recently, but it was an inn that brought my luggage to my room. The inside of the inn is large and the garden is magnificent and too luxurious! It was like a maze. Supper is easy because you can have it in a private room. The explanation of the food was young, but it is very solid. There were many vegetables such as wild plants for breakfast, and there were many maba tofu and kotteri Chinese dishes, so I thought it was unusual, and the maba tofu I took was amazing. Of course, all the dishes are delicious, but the rice is what impresses me. Yamagata rice is really delicious. It was a long and elongated variety and I liked it very much. You may not be able to expect the view from the room because the room you stayed in was on the ３ floor. I really don't say anything, but if I say one thing, I was worried that when I left the room, I always smelled the food from the kitchen.

It is an old hotel, so you may not want to take a bath in your room, but their public bath is good. This place is on the hill which means you will not want to walk by your own in winter because of the slippery Mountain path. But in other hand it is really convenient because they provide shuttle bus to bus station or cable car station. And there is a ski place just in front of the hotel, you can borrow the equipments from hotel.

The hotel is not far from the station. There is an elevator and the room was quite nice with a wonderful view over the city. We paid about 36€ a night which was a good price for what we got. The bathroom was small as in most hotels in this category but everything was clean and well maintained. Extra free toiletries can be picked up at the reception, who was always friendly and helpful. The room could be a bit bigger as with two bags / suitcases you have to move some furniture for storage ;-) The English skills of some receptionists could be improved. In general we had a pleasant stay at the hotel and would recommend it.
