Yokohama Spa Hotels

I booked for my brother and family. They enjoyed the beautiful view of Yokohama bay bridge. Good thing about trip is that it provides detailed information about the room before booking which is better than the hotel s official website or other online booking.

The hotel lobby is huge, the location is convenient to access to Queen's plaza. The room is nice and neat. Excellent services ! We like to return again. Its a good value hotel.

■ View bus Luxury Ocean twin Bay View Room The room with a clean can has a large window and a balcony. The view from the room, the balcony is the bay bridge, the Ferris wheel is visible. The bathtub and shower room are separate 々, so you can take a bath time slowly. The night view of the Ferris wheel with the bathroom was also very beautiful. Breakfast is surrounded by palm trees and a buffet style restaurant with a southern atmosphere. There were many items and it was delicious. This time, the prefectural people were applied and we were able to stay at a reasonable price. The Intercontinental Yokohama Pier 8 is part of the Cruise Terminal Complex ”Yokohama Hammerhead”. If you are familiar with Cup Noodle museum, then it's right behind it. It's also a short 10 minute walk from the other Intercontinental: Yokohama Grand. The closest stations for both these hotels is the Minatomirai station on the Minatomirai line. If you are coming by JR, the closet station is Sakuragi-cho on the Keihin-Touhoku line and from there about a 15 to 20 minute walk to Yokohama Grand and a further 10 minutes to Pier 8. From the Hammerhead, you can clearly see the iconic fin shaped Intercontinental Yokohama Grand. It's in a good location with shops and restaurants in Yokohama Hammerhead, Marine & Walk and the famous Red Brick warehouse. The hotel is a rectangle building with an open area in the middle (garden) of the building from level 3. The ”outside” rooms are the City and Bay View rooms while the ”inside” rooms are the Garden View rooms. There's also a rooftop garden where you have a great view overlooking the bay and can just sit and relax in the sun. The staff were exceptional and the rooms amazing. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

We booked a Standard Double Room and were upgraded to a Club King as Bonvoy Platinum members. Our first impressions of the hotel were big, beautiful, convenient, but with minimal and stingy service. The Club King room was very nice, modern, quite large with a sofa and desk, and spacious bath. And very clean with lots of amenities. Bed was excellent. Location is very good with direct access to the station, shops, restaurants, and Takashimaya Department Store. Platinum Elite members can check in at the Club Lounge. The lounge is not too large, and I imagine it being very busy on weekends or holidays. Refreshments throughout the day are extremely minimal, just drinks and very light snacks like cookies and crackers (I would definitely not describe this as ”afternoon hors d’oeuvres” as stated on their website). The evening cocktail service is a bit more expansive with salad, 4-5 hot dishes, and dessert. I requested something vegetarian as there was nothing besides salad, and they were able to prepare a steamed vegetable plate and tiny fruit plate which were delicious but not filling, and nothing compared to the regular options available. When asked if it might be possible to prepare a main dish (something with more carbs), I was told they could either give me plain white rice or plain penne pasta with no sauce, I was told to add salt and pepper for flavor. Seriously? Would anyone feel pleased with such an offering? I obviously refused, and was left with a bitter feeling for the rest of our stay. Note that this property does not acknowledge the Marriott Platinum “Guaranteed 4 p.m. Late Checkout” benefit. We stayed on a Sunday, checking out the following Monday (not a holiday, and definitely not a peak day) but were denied late check out, only given 1:00. For a previous reservation, once again checking out on a non-peak Monday, we were also completely denied late check out (only standard 12:00 check out). To the Management of the Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers, I have a simple question, do you offer 4 p.m. late check-out to your Platinum Members? This is a major deciding factor for Platinum Members in choosing your hotel. Breakfast was not available in the Club Lounge, but in the buffet restaurant Compass. (Another clear indication that the Club Floor was not very busy, so why no late check out?) Breakfast here was nice, not an expansive selection, but a decent selection of both Japanese and Western dishes (but few or no vegetarian options). The orange juicer machine was especially good. Overall, this is a very nice hotel, but it does not feel like a Sheraton property as they deny Bonvoy Elite benefits when they see fit, and the service is not that of an international hotel. Elite Members are not treated as such. It feels more like a Japanese hotel that’s a step or two behind international standards. I really hope things improve as the hotel itself is very nice and we’d like to visit Yokohama again soon.

This is new property, it has been barely a year after being opened We were impressed contemporary, modern stylish room (love the very comfy bed and automated curtain and blind as you enter at the corner king room ) , Spacious sophisticated club lounge ( all platinum ,titanium and ambassador elite member , this is one of the best lounge I have been to among all properties, not just Japan!) not forgetting great atmosphere and view from highest floor where checking desk is located I have stayed many Marriott properties for years and several properties in Japan by now , among all properties in Japan, this is the absolutely place to be back in Tokyo area Despite the location, not located in middle of Tokyo, still easy access and average 20 to 40min train ride from Tokyo to Yokohama where hotel is located After seeing or staying the property, many will not mind for the train ride. As you might know, it is norm to take train or subway 30 min ride everyday within Tokyo that has been well developed and spread wide range At last, I like to thank you to Ms. Inui who has taken care of checking in and out at club lounge, she is sincere and attentive I have a minor issue on service, but she did communicate well and it did not bother me much after all I believe they will improve service much more in future We had great 3 nights stay at the Brand New Westin in Japan

The room is small, but clean and well-equipped! The service staff is very enthusiastic and comes to ask about the situation and clean every day! The hotel is conveniently located, and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the JR station! There are many convenience stores and restaurants around, and it is very convenient for living and eating!

I stayed with three family members as a birthday celebration. I was happy because I wanted to stay for a long time! The room, dinner, and the hospitality of the staff are all the best and very satisfying! All the dinners were delicious and I was pleased to have a nice plate prepared for my birthday. It is a hotel that is friendly to children and I would like to stay with my family again! The excitement when entering the hotel, the production of the meal, the view from the room, all are the best memories. Thank you very much.

This is the second time this summer, and I stay every time. I like the footbath on the roof and all of them. There are many commercial facilities and sightseeing spots nearby, so you can go out, and there are games for children and table tennis in the facility, so the room is not large, but it is enough. Perhaps because the coronavirus has subsided, this year the rooftop footbath space has revived sales of drinks and soft serve ice cream. I'm glad you're like this. I thought it would be nice if shaved ice was also revived. I booked a plan that only included a breakfast buffet, but you can eat at the restaurant at night (beautiful night view), and there are many places to eat even if you go out. In the morning, you can take a walk along the beach, take a bath, and have breakfast! Even if I make a reservation early in the morning at the Cup Noodles Museum next door, I can afford to go, so I make a reservation as a set. As a couple, you can enjoy the night view while wearing a yukata and taking a footbath!

4 of us stayed for 3 nights during the typhoon. The first night we were in the annex around the corner, rooms very basic but excellent bedding and comfortable beds and a shower for 6 minutes. We then moved into the main hostel which was similar. Plenty roof terrace space so didn’t need to sit in rooms all the time. Host was friendly and place was constantly being cleaned. Not the best of areas to walk around in but hostel was fine
