The hotel feels like a B&B. The bathroom is small and the quality of toiletries is a bit poor. The room layout is very warm, the view outside the window is beautiful, and the mattresses in the UK are very soft.

The hotel was in a lovely location. With efficient service. The rooms may benefit from a little upgrade of carpets and the beams were dusty. The room we had used a shared bathroom which was fine to use however it was a walk down some stairs which are carpeted not most hygenic. The fire alarm went off at 6am and it did take owner 7 minutes to arrive to response and check. After this we were able to return to rooms for rest. The hotel is 35 mins walk from centre of York lovely when a nice day.

Awful! We stayed here after going to an event near by, even for the night was bad enough. Loud neighbours banging around early hours of the morning. Manager wasn't very helpful. Don't like the fact that there's no one in the building to help you. I don't recommend this place at all!!

I have stayed here a few times. Always very clean. Sometimes it can be a little noisy on an evening but overall i would come back again

I got a slightly different room than what I had booked, but I was still very happy with the room - nice and spacious, decent en suite, and YouTube on the TV was a nice bonus!
It was a bit of a way out from the city centre, but that meant it was quieter, so worth the walk/bus/taxi

The room condition and the price i paid is all worth it. Very friendly cleaning staff. Few steps away from bus stop to York City Centre or Designer Outlet and 10 mins travel by bus.
