Vikings Accommodation

Thanks for the warm reception staff! My parents and I spent three days and two nights on a perfect trip to York.

It was a very good experience staying in the Vikings. I would definitely go stay again next time I visit to York. It took us 15 minutes walk to the city centre and there is also some cafe and shops nearby.

everything is good，it is not far away from the railway station. i think this hotel is perfect except the toilet because the door cannot be fully closed.

I had expected more from the room as it was King Room for the money that I paid, however what. I didn’t expect was that I was going to have extra company in my bed with me! To wake up to find bugs crawling on my duvet and to then find them stuck in the headboard was a different level of disgust for me. So much so that I have checked out a day early - I have barely slept all night and I couldn’t get out of there quick enough. I have been itching all night and I have also felt something bite the back of my neck. I messaged the owners first thing and I have heard nothing back as yet and I do expect part refund as it is not acceptable that it’s being advertised as highly rated as it is and I’ve now had to incur additional costs because of this awful situation. As an asthmatic this room also smelt of damp - I will not be recommending to anyone to stay here

Stayed 4 nights here. Hotel is on a quiet street, about a 20 minute walk from the train station and a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre. Had a single room and it was a good size, with tea and coffee and more downstairs if needed. There is also a kitchen if you wish to cook your own meals. Owners were lovely. Definitely would stay again if I'm ever in York.

Jamal and his colleagues were very amicable, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms are pretty small but very comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. Great value, I would definitely stay again.

Amazing trip to York for the weekend! The accommodation is ideally placed just a 10 minute walk from the centre of York. The host was amazing and gave lots of information on getting about, attractions to see, and was welcoming and friendly. If we ever visit York again, we will definitely be staying here!
