Very comfortable large home/event venue just outside of Lafayette. Convenient to Jefferson Island (Rip van Winkle Gardens) and Avery Island (Tabasco, Jungle Gardens) and too many delicious dining options. Host provided an excellent list of tourist and dining recommendations in a binder and thoughtfully provided gluten-free waffles for breakfast to accommodate food allergies.

Great service, the room was cozy and when u get there, they give u a tour! I highly recommended! The grounds are beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic. I will definitely come back again with my family. Couples Massages in the privacy of your own bedroom suite, and much more.

Everything was so nice. We booked for our 27th anniversary. Unfortunately my husband only has a day and a half off so we were only able to stay one night but wanted something more upscale than a hotel room. I was not disappointed!! The innkeeper was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We were told that they had all rooms full for the night but we never saw anyone else. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. They had everything ready when we got there and even helped us decide where to go eat for dinner. The room was beautiful ( I got the cheapest room but nothing felt cheap about it, it was luxurious) the bed was comfortable and we slept great! The next morning we woke to the smell of breakfast and omg the breakfast alone was worth the stay!! We had eggs, bacon, smashed potatoes, some type of tomatoes ( probably the best thing on the plate and I hate tomatoes) French toast, blueberries, strawberries, orange juice, water and fresh coffee! We will definitely be going again when my husband can get more time off because 1 night just isn't enough!

Made reservation on line with arrival at 6pm. Arrived at 6:15. Innkeeper not there - couldn't check in. Waited 15 minutes no response. Innkeeper called to say earliest she could get there to check in was 8 pm. Rude person - suggested that we cancel which we did.

Volevo alloggiare in un edificio storico e per questo abbiamo scelto la cajun Mansion, benché un po' scomoda per raggiungere Lafayette, soprattutto la sera. L'edificio è molto bello e molto ben curato nei minimi dettagli. Stanza ampia e con grande personalità. Posteggio gratuito all'interno della proprietà. Qualche piccolo problema con l'aria condizionata che attacca e stacca in continuazione ed è molto rumorosa, e di notte è un bel fastidio. C'è la macchina del caffé in camera e negli spazi comuni altro caffé, bollitore per il te, bibite etc. Il personale gentile, disponibile e accogliente. La colazione è varia, ma è "cajun", può piacere o non piacere. Nella stanza ci sono le indicazioni sulle attività da fare nelle vicinanze e sui ristoranti. Consigli ottimi soprattutto per i ristoranti.

Cajun Mansion is a fantastic getaway. The staff are great. The food is fabulous. They go out of the way to make your stay enjoyable, but also give you privacy. Beautiful grounds to walk if you choose and lovely home away from home.

What a find ! Me and my wife stopped for the night at the Cajun mansion and it was fantastic. The food recommendation was perfect, the room was comfy and the breakfast was delicious, I wish I had booked more nights.

Une très belle maison, confortable, et un accueil très attentionné.
Petit-déjeuner servi à table très copieux, et de qualité. Mon fils et moi avons beaucoup aimé, ma fille et ma femme ne mangeant pas d’œufs, bien que ne pouvoir choisir ce qu’elles souhaitaient ont eu en remplacement yaourth / granola / framboises très bon pour ceux qui aiment.
Un très joli cadre, mais dommage la piscine avaient été supprimée (bétonnée) il y a peu : à priori pour offrir un espace de réception extérieur.
Le seul vrai bémol est la climatisation réglée trop froide pour nous, avec une commande enfermée sous clé qu’on ne pouvait pas régler.

Nous occupions la suite Juliet pour 4 personnes : un grand lit et un canapé lit.
La maison est très belle avec un magnifique parc. Néanmoins je n’ai pas apprécié que l’établissement m’indique après avoir réservé que la piscine était en travaux “cette semaine là “ alors qu’elle a été comblée définitivement. De la même manière le ménage n’a pas été effectué entre nos deux nuits (nous séjournions sur un we et plus personne de présent après le petit déjeuner). Baignoire spa interdite d’utilisation sous peine de 500 dollars d’amendes.
Bref tout n’est pas à jour pour les équipements.
