Bitzaro Boutique Hotel

Went to Bitzaro for the 3rd time on 13th September along with friends. We got a taxi from the airport (€35 for a mini bus) and were there in less than 10 mins. Check in was fairly smooth, we paid the €15 to use the safe for a week. Hotel tax was about €11. We were in room 207 On the middle floor looking towards the pool. The twin room was just as nice as we remembered it, clean with plenty of space for the two of us. Beds were comfy, and the cleaner did a fab job with fresh towels every 2 days. We had an issue with little flies in the bathroom. I did alert the evening receptionist to this who kindly gave me some bug spray. Which fixed the issue for the next 12 hours. Mentioned it again and they’d run out of the spray. Mentioned it again 3rd day of bugs) and was told maybe they were there all the time and i hadn’t noticed when I killed the first 9, every time we went into the bathroom we disposed of at least 5. By our 5th day someone had put a white powder down the drain in the floor and they had gone from there onwards. Also. No milk in the rooms but tea and coffee were available. We bought our own from the shop at the end of the street but found it odd. Could buy water from the day bar (the restaurant bar but accessed through a side door) €2 for 6 1.5ltr bottles. We were 2 hours late in checking in but the staff had put some food in the room as we had missed the evening meal. Which was a really nice touch. The hotel itself had received some refurbishment since we last visited in September 2019. The building has had a lick of paint, so has the restaurant, and both look very smart. The building itself has had the metal fences removed and blocked off with bricks with can make the balconies feel a touch claustrophobic. But we didn’t spend much time on ours. The pool is where the major work has been carried out. It’s been re tiled and modernised, and the steps in have been made bigger. The biggest change is the jacuzzi. They’ve blocked off the old one and built a new larger one into the main pool. This wasn’t separately heated but did warm quicker than the rest of the pool as was shallower. The only grumble we had was that the decking around the pool was tired and uneven in places. But you can’t have everything. The bean bags around the pool are a nice touch. The towel situation on a morning is the same as everywhere else. Signs up saying not before 9 but then people were out with towels and back in bed by 8. We did find places for us, but was difficult some days as there were 5 of us. The food was great. Loads of selection on a morning from cooked breakfast to continental to fruit to yoghurts and muffins. Lunch and dinner there was plenty of selections and show cooking some evening. We never went hungry. And the snack bar was mainly burger/hotdog/fish finger and chips but there was ice creams and a few desserts to help yourself to. The majority of staff we spoke with were lovely. Especially George on the day bar and evening meals. Cou
Meandros Boutique & Spa Hotel - Adults Only

We had a lovely, relaxing week at Meandros. It was a special birthday so we booked a private pool and deluxe suite. We were so grateful that we got room 105 because the pool was extremely private unlike some of the other pools which were on full display to the guests. I enjoyed the food which was very Greek, my husband not so much but a small hotel cannot cater for individual tastes. The staff everywhere were superb very welcoming and professional. My only grievance was the shower over the bath. My heart sank when I saw it, because I've had two hip replacements I found it extremely difficult to access the shower. My husband had to help me in it every day and wait with me while I showered because there were no grab rails to hold onto. Believe me, not very dignifying and I've left with several bruises on my legs as the bath was so high. There was no entertainment of any kind so we enjoyed the live music at Antonis pool bar. All in all we did enjoy our holiday, staff, cleanliness and pool were exemplary. I would love to go back but couldn't put myself through the whole shower experience again.

There is no word to describe how comfortable we felt during our stay at Christina’s place. We spontaneously booked her room, within 2 hours the room was perfect cleaned and she welcomed us warmly. Christina’s place is so pretty and very clean(!). The room was cleaned on daily basis and has everything we could have asked for. We could reach Christina anytime and she was very helpful. Moreover she gave our many many Tipps on where to go and where to eat. There is a beach 10 min. From the apartment by foot. And supermarkets and bakery Herz near by. I highly recommend Christina for anyone who wants to visit Zakynthos. @christina thank you so much for saving our vacation and for everything!
Letsos Hotel

Just back home after a week at Letsos. Only thing negative I have to say is I wasn’t staying longer. I have stayed at Letsos before covid and it was lovely then. The improvements they have done are fantastic. The staff are lovely and friendly but I have to say the manager really goes out of her way to help you. She is amazing. The most friendliest people you can meet. The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the pool and a very large balcony. Our room was cleaned everyday. I honestly can not say a bad word about it. It’s very close to all shops and restaurants and a short walk to the beautiful warm sandy beach. Thank you so much for making our first holiday after covid a very good one. We have already been In contact to book again for next year.
Avalon Palace Hotel

The hotel is on the hill. There is a shuttle bus to the town and the beach, but it depends on their time. The hotel is a bit of a sense of age. We booked a private pool suite but the pool was a bit dirty and there were corpses of bugs in it and there was no water. The room was generally ok. Dinner and breakfast were included but the dishes and taste were not good. There were only lazy ones in the hotel Big dog and a few cats like to follow you. When checking in, I explained a lot of things in detail. There is a free airport pick-up and dinner. You can't wear revealing clothes and drinks are charged separately. Overall it's ok!
Diana Hotel

The appearance of the hotel is good, the service attitude is poor, give me a room that is too small for my suitcase to be flat. I went to the front desk and asked for a room change. I also gave me a room with eight air-conditioning hosts outside the balcony. The noise is very big, I gave it to Ctrip, indicating that I will change the room for me. I went to the front desk to borrow needles, or the woman said no, and another woman gave me a box of needles. The old woman at the front desk had a bad attitude. It is recommended to prepare a careful consideration for this hotel. The bed in the room is placed against the wall, which is inconvenient. The bedside table is a magazine-sized wooden board nailed to the wall. This is the worst value for money hotel during the 20-day trip. More than 900 can have other Better choice
