Zhangjiajie Tianmenshan Inn Reviews

My stay at the Zhangjiajie hotel was truly delightful and great value for money. The location is superb, being conveniently close to the Tianmen Mountain Ropeway, Luckin Coffee, and McDonald's, making it easy to access local attractions and amenities. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a hassle-free experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie!

The room was nice, had a big bed for myself. The location is ideal at the bottom of Tianmenshan, close to the train station and the bus station. The people at the reception were quite cold but I could enter my room at 12 instead of 2 and store my luggage after checkout

The hotel was okay. It didn't have a western toilet which was disappointing. There was also no drinking water in the room.

The only good things I can say about this place are that it's cheap and close (＜10 minutes' walk) to the Tianmenshan cable car station. The place is old and not very well-taken care of; the furnishings look dubious; the bathroom is always wet; the reception service is lukewarm at best; the "luggage storage" is just an unguarded place under the stairs next to a pile of cardboard. There's definitely better hostels in the vicinity.

The receptionist was much friendlier and more helpful than in several other places I have been in my 2 month trip in China. I stayed for 1 night and had a great experience, for the nightly price I paid I was very happy.

I stayed for two nights and I don't know why I was divided into two orders. Let me add more. Why did I mention the Central Bus Station in the previous article? Because if you don't drive here, you can only take a bus to Wulingyuan, which costs 13 yuan per trip, which is much cheaper than taking a taxi, so it's good to be close to the bus station.

You really get what you pay for and can't ask for too much. My first trip to rural China, I will pay more attention next time. I thought it was cheap and good, but actually it wasn’t. The bathroom walls are mostly moldy so I don't dare to get too close when taking a shower. The towels are terrible because they have hair and iron stains, and can be used as scrap towels, so it is recommended to bring them by yourself. Since there are no indoor slippers, I use toilet slippers instead. The toilet is a squat toilet. The air conditioner in the first room was broken, so I'm very grateful to the service staff who immediately moved me to another room. So I give the service staff high marks.
