A very satisfying stay experience, feeling at home! It really feels like this is Zhangjiajie - my home from afar! The family is very enthusiastic and will come again!
Facilities: Complete facilities, wooden structure houses and courtyards are all elegant.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy, disinfected daily, spotless.
Environment: You can see by uploading pictures. The environment is elegant, surrounded by mountains and rivers, the air is fresh, and the cicadas are singing and the birds are singing. My daughter said that this is Zhangjiajie, so we don’t want to go to the scenic spots, and would rather take a nap here. Later, I extended my stay for another 3 days. It was a great value for my stay of 5 days and 4 nights!
Service: Super in place. There are 10 people in a group. Butlers, drivers, housekeeping, catering and other staff are all available to serve you at any time. The housekeeper is on duty 24 hours a day, and everyone is friendly and enthusiastic, waiting for you to come home at any time, especially housekeeper Xiao Song. Breakfast can be eaten in the restaurant or delivered to the room. For dinner, you can order in a group and reserve a dining time. Two people can share a private room, which is very luxurious.

The overall style of the homestay is very unique. The rooms are like small planets. The rooms are small and warm. Although the sparrows are small and complete, the sanitation is very clean. The traffic is very close to the Yangjiajie scenic spot, and the rugged mountain roads are very challenging. The air environment is good Needless to say, it's just a natural oxygen bar. The service of the housekeeper, sister and brother, is very good, and the breakfast is also excellent! 👍🏻The aunts are also very polite and are a very toned homestay!

The location of the Hotel is very close to the park entrance, about 5min footwalk. The hotel was clean and the staff was extremely nice. The staff helped out with all our questions. It was a pleasant stay and I can definitely recommend this place for staying in Wulingyuan to visit the Zhangjiajie National Park. Everytime again!

It is a small hotel. They provide a limited number of food to order for breakfast. Almost like a bed-and-breakfast place.
Overall, it was a nice place to stay as long as you do not need their transportation service. The driver charged 120 CNY to the airport. The owner decided to send us instead of the driver. When we arrived at the airport, he charged 200 CNY.
This hotel is about a 5-minute drive / 35 minutes walk to the entrance to the Zhangjiajie's Avatar / floating mountains.
It is about 50 minute drive from the Tianmen Heaven's Gate. I recommend staying at the Zhangjiajiw's center (10-15 minutes drive to Tianmen Heaven's Gate).
Pros: A bidet is available in the bathroom. The decor is lovely. The location is convenient to the main road with restaurants and many other stores.
Cons: There was no place to hang the used towel if you plan to use it again. There is no place to put soap in the bathroom other than on the window sill. Also, it only gives one small bottle of soap to use for the sink and the shower. It has mosquitoes in the room. If you need to use the bathtub, please make sure to clean it yourself again before use. It was not very clean. No English-speaking staff.

Friendly and quietly located hotel. Immediately on arrival, you feel more like a family member than a regular hotel guest. The hotel is beautifully located a little “of the beaten track” but close to Zhangjiajie Forrest Park entrance. You can take a 10 min walk to the park entrance or the hotel will happily take you there by car. The hotel is clean, modern and offers most things you can wish for. The staff is extremely helpful for any requests you may have. This side of the park is less busy and we found it very convenient to visit Avatar Mountains with less people to fight with. The stay is also much more genuine than staying at one of the bigger hotels. If you plan to visit Tianmen Mountains, the location is a bit distant but transportation are available on requests. We truly had a great experience.

Hotel itself looks not bad . Location seemed to be good , but every time you call didi - all the drivers drive you by weird roads which are always on construction . So 10 min trip May lasts hour or more ( mine was 1.5 hour)
Any person in stuff don’t speak or understand English , so they were not helpful with necessities.
And final . My flight was early morning and I noticed hotel stuff in advance about early check out . Morning , I realized that all gates are closed and I can’t get out . So I climbed over the wall to set myself free. I would not recommend this stay

I traveled with my colleagues and booked a hotel in advance online. Arriving as scheduled, the store manager personally led the team and picked up the car wearing Zhangjiajie Tujia costumes, which was very ceremonial. Along the way, he kindly and meticulously explained Zhangjiajie’s landforms and travel routes to us. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff was very enthusiastic and offered each of us a cup of welcome tea to relax us from the fatigue of the journey.
When you walk into the hotel lobby, the environment is very warm, with unique decoration, spiral staircase, and a fireplace in the middle of the living room, which makes you feel extremely warm.

Location- Things didn't go as planned to take the cable car up the Tian Men Mountain but at least we get to see that the cable car is just very near behind the hotel. We went 七星山 instead, the pickup n drop-off is also walkable. Food and restaurants are nearby.
Experience- I stayed in 5 hotels in China this winter trip and frankly, it's really nice to be the only to have heated toilet seat!
Cleanliness is good, family room size is not the biggest but its good for my family of 4. Thank you for making my trip beautiful!

AALEKSANDRAIf i could give 100 stars to this hotel, i would. We enjoyed every moment there. The staff was super friendly and polite. We felt like we are not staying at a hotel but our own place. It’s on the most convenient location for visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest park.
Every room from glass house to little rainbow houses were really unique. During our stay, host helped us with transfer to National Park and planing our visit and days.
Breakfast was homemade and really delicious.
To sum up, our stay was perfect and we will definitely come back here! ❤️☀️😍

ZZe YongWe stayed here for 3 days 2 nights. We choose this hotel due to close proximity to Tianmen Mountain cable car station, just 7 mins walk away crossing the road. Clealiness wise is superb, we got upgraded to a bigger room at 12th floor. Hotel interior is cosy and classy. They have welcome drink too upon check in. The hotel provides 3x washing machine and 3x dryer machine for hotel guests to do their laundry. The best part is they have staffs standby near to the laundry area to help you monitor when your clothes is ready and they will sent the clothes right to your doorstep. We are happy with the stay and highly recommend to our friends and family to stay in when they come over to Zhangjiajie.

SSharon AmandaI can not praise this hotel enough, it is FANTASTIC! First of all, when I made my booking, a lovely lady (Tang?) connected with me on Wechat. She gave me lots of information, answered all my questions and helped to plan our itinerary. She also offered to purchase our tickets for the National Park in advance. As it turns out, you can no longer do this, but the offer was very nice and thoughtful. When we arrived at the airport, I phoned her and she helped to direct the taxi driver from the airport to the hotel. Check-in was easy and she helped us both get the local QR health codes, which you need to access everywhere in the National Park.
The hotel itself is beautiful. Located near the top of the mountain, 5-10 minute walk away from the south gate to the park itself (and a much quieter entrance than both the east and south-east gates). We had a room overlooking the hotel entrance, with a mountain view (everywhere up there is a mountain view!). It was large, clean, with a great shower and a very comfortable bed. I had read other reviews about the hardness of the bed, but ours was super comfortable (Room 8207). Great TV too, with a good choice of programmes. Believe me, after a long day of hiking, it was nice to put our feet up and just unwind. Tea, coffee, water and fruit are provided (coffee has creamer in it, so if you don't drink milk, bring your own). There is also a lovely swimming pool - we had a refreshing swim one evening after a long hike, surrounded by the spectacular view. There is a restaurant in the hotel where you can get evening meals - we are vegan and so Tang helped us to choose vegetable dishes, which were delicious. There is also breakfast included. For us, the choice wasn't so great, but if you do not have any special dietary requirements, there are noodles, bao, sausage, egg, vegetables & fruit.
The hotel is great, but I have to say that it is the kind, friendly treatment by everyone there that makes it very special. Each day, Tang would ask us our plan and show us the best route on the map. She also arranged for someone to drop us off and pick us up when we ventured to a different gate. We speak no Chinese at all, and English at the hotel is limited, but with the help of a translation app, we had no problems at all. And the friendliness of everyone is almost overwhelming. I highly recommend this hotel and would DEFINITELY stay here again.
*Small note - if you suffer from travel sickness (as I do!) be warned that this area is full of winding mountain roads, so take some sort of medication or treatment with you.

HHFPerhaps one of the best homestay I have ever stay in China! The overall service was excellent. Mr Li, the boss of the homestay personally picked me from the airport. Being a foreigner, there is a problem in retrieving the Zhangjiajie health code, fortunately I managed to get it sorted out by the airport security. Mr Li called me several times as he was wondering if I gave any issue since all passengers have existed the airport and there is no sight of me coming out. We drove around 30 minutes to the homestay. As it was rather late when I arrived, Mr Li asked if I needed any dinner and will get his colleague to prepare for me. Upon arrival at the homestay, I was greeted by Ms Xiao Liu, a young pretty girl who patiently explain about the walking route for several sightseeing places. She was knowledgeable and the information given to me was very clear. What I particularly like was the energy saving, as the staircase up to my room is installed with sensor control and lit-up as soon as there is movement. My room was upgraded to a higher category which was very spacious with a bathtub and lounging area at the balcony. The room was simple but well decorated. Great views overlooking the mountain. As it was snowing the day before I arrived, the sofa was covered with snow. The next day I had breakfast at another building. The breakfast venue was located next to the swimming pool. Breakfast was simple with a nice bowl of hot noodles during the winter. The ladies that worked behind the kitchen offered me fried egg to go along with my noodles. After my breakfast, Mr Li drove me to the Wulingyuan National Park entrance which is less than 10 minutes ride. After my excursion, Mr Zhao the manager of the homestay, fetched me back to the homestay. I ordered some dumplings and it was yummy. Ms Xiao Li made me a cup of tea to go with the dumplings. My room was cleaned upon my return. Hygiene was good and housekeeper did a get job. The bed was comfortable, however the pillows were a little soft for me. The only setback was the lighting in the bathroom was not bright enough when applying make-up. As my flight was in the evening, Mr Zhao fetch me to the Tianmen tourist centre as I would like visit the Tianmen mountain before my departure. I had a fabulous stay and the service offered by everyone was excellent. I will definitely return again on my next trip to Zhangjiajie.

The hotel itself and the room are both exquisite. Among the unexpected amenities, there is even a bed warmer! The staff is very welcoming and friendly, they even let us in to leave our bags at 7:30 in the morning and drove us to the nearest bus stop when we left. Breakfast is homemade and local, I invite you to try it out! We loved our stay there (wish it longer), definitely the best experience. Thank you!

ZZe YongWe stayed here for 3 days 2 nights. We choose this hotel due to close proximity to East Gate of Wulingyuan, just 15 mins walk along and crossing the river. Clealiness wise is superb, they have voice control smart home system in their hotel room, which is quite fancy. Hotel interior is cosy and confortable. They have welcome drink too upon check in. Breakfast wise taste good, we like the noodles soup prepared right on the spot, with added soya sauce and vinegar, it taste delicious. They provide value added service such as you can pre-book all the entry ticket to Zhangjiajie attractions with discounted price through them. On top of that, the hotel staffs able to advise you the route to follow through when you visit all the attractions so you won't get lost. We are happy with the stay and highly recommend to our friends and family to stay in when they come over to Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie.

GGuest UserMy friend and I stayed here when we were visiting the Zhangjiajie National Park. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the park's Eastern enterance which is super convienient. From the Eastern Entrance, you can catch the free bus to access Tianzi Shan, you can also take the Bailongshan Elevator that will take you to the most famous view points, including the First Bridge under Heaven and the Hallajuah Mountain. If you plan your routes well, it is possible to see all the different parts of the park by entering from the Eastern Enterance.
The hotel itself is clean and has a friendly a**osphere -- we both felt very safe and welcome. There is a breakfast place just 20m down the street and plenty of options of places to eat during the evening, so you don't need to worry about being able to find food. There is also a small night market in the evenings where you can buy fruit and street food.
The hotel can store your luggage for you so you don't need to worry about carrying it when you go hiking. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about using the Zhangjiajie Eastern enterance.

However, if you are going without tourist guide, then better don’t join any in Zhang Jia Jie. At first we were paying the counter (tourist guide in the hotel) a deposit to buy the entrance ticket, but when we back to hotel after lunch, the person said they couldn’t proceed our ticket and want us to pay everything in full first. Then we immediately request to took back our money and go by ourselves

GGuest UserSeeing that the weather has been getting warmer recently, I took my family out to get some fresh air. I came to Zhangjiajie after a long absence. I found the Huangting Hotel closest to the ticket station on Ctrip. I wanted to take my time and play with the hotel security. The front desk was very enthusiastic and the hotel facilities were great. They are all good, all functions are complete, the hotel is hygienic, and the soundproofing is better than before. The only drawback is that there is no breakfast. However, the front desk recommended that the rice noodles made by Cili Rice Noodle Shop next to the hotel are really delicious, better than Guilin rice noodles. , the lady at the front desk recommended a travel route to me, which was very detailed and professional. She also helped me buy tickets for the Charming Xiangxi performance. Thank you very much. I must give the hotel 5 stars. It is worth recommending.
