Muzitang Travel Photography Resort Hotel (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park) Reviews

This homely hotel is centrally located, about 15 min pleasant riverside walk away from the Zhangjiajie East Gate. Good local restaurants nearby for dinner. A hearty breakfast is offered by the hotel - we loved the dumplings. The best feature of this hotel is the staff; we found them helpful, kind and welcoming.

I wanted a hotel that’s reasonably close to the entrances of Wulingyuan national parks and offers unique, localized aesthetics. Muzitang had both. All the staff were hospitable and very helpful. They were responsive to my needs. The location is within walking distance to restaurants & businesses nearby; but secluded enough from the crowds at the same time. I highly recommend Muzitang for your stay.

Very nice hotel located in a convenient area of Wulingyuan. About 20-30 minutes walk from the national park entrance and close to many restaurants and shops. The room was beautiful and has many good amenities, including a nice bath and bowl of fruit. Everything was clean and they were very friendly and helpful! This stay is highly recommended!

Nice hotel. The room is not as beautiful as in the pictures, but big and nice. The river view is only at the corner of a window, the real view is on the neighboring building, so we kept the windows closed all the time. The stuff is super! Nice and helpful, great service!

The hotel was as advertised, it was clean and beautiful. The view was nice, located by a stream. It was conveniently located close to the entrance of the national forest park. There are many restaurants, bakeries and convenience stores located around the hotel so food was not a worry. The owner was very nice and friendly, planned our ZJJ trip for us! We did not have much planning, he tailored our trips for us and booked our tickets for us (cable cars, buses, lift and tram ride). It is also to DiDi in ZJJ which make travelling between places very convenient. It was a very cosy and comfortable stay. ❤️

It is a small hotel. They provide a limited number of food to order for breakfast. Almost like a bed-and-breakfast place. Overall, it was a nice place to stay as long as you do not need their transportation service. The driver charged 120 CNY to the airport. The owner decided to send us instead of the driver. When we arrived at the airport, he charged 200 CNY. This hotel is about a 5-minute drive / 35 minutes walk to the entrance to the Zhangjiajie's Avatar / floating mountains. It is about 50 minute drive from the Tianmen Heaven's Gate. I recommend staying at the Zhangjiajiw's center (10-15 minutes drive to Tianmen Heaven's Gate). Pros: A bidet is available in the bathroom. The decor is lovely. The location is convenient to the main road with restaurants and many other stores. Cons: There was no place to hang the used towel if you plan to use it again. There is no place to put soap in the bathroom other than on the window sill. Also, it only gives one small bottle of soap to use for the sink and the shower. It has mosquitoes in the room. If you need to use the bathtub, please make sure to clean it yourself again before use. It was not very clean. No English-speaking staff.

The hotel is in a good location, with free parking, clean and tidy rooms, and complete facilities and equipment. I added Luo Luo on WeChat, which was very convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and there were provincial government units around. It is a very good hotel.

You can see the beautiful scenery opposite, there are delicious food nearby, the environment is very good, the hot water is sufficient, the equipment is complete, the boss is very enthusiastic and the fruit is served, recommended

The price is a little bit expensive, everything else is OK.

The hotel decorated with solid wood has a simple exterior, complete facilities, and enthusiastic service from the boss. The hotel is close to Zhangjiajie, a 20-minute walk. There are many local snacks around the hotel to satisfy your taste buds.
