One of the best hotel I was in China. Clean, spacious with a nice bathroom. Calm (if you except some other clients/guests). Quite well located because you're near the south entrance of the national park (5-10 min. walk). The staff is nice with a smile. There's a restaurant so you can take your breakfast, your lunch and even your dinner there (breakfast was included in the room price but not the other meals). Be aware that the prices on the english menu are a little higher than those written in chinese (not sure if it's the same food by the way). To get there (Luoguta, where the hotel is), you can take a taxi (or a "grab" taxi) from Zhangjiajiexi (Zhangjiajie West Railway Station) for example (cost 60-80 CNY).Maybe there's also a bus but I'm not sure.

TERRIBLE. Truly terrible. Yes, the hotel is located walking distance from the national park but in my opinion it is not worth it. We had to take a didi for 40 mins just to get food or go to a convenience store- it’s so secluded. Yes, the hotel looks beautiful and serene but looks can be deceiving. At all hours there are noisy children’s and adults and the walls are so thin it sounds like they’re in the room. Also, the cleaning staff knocked on the door early in the morning 3 TIMES despite the Do Not Disturb light being on. They Ayi walked in on my husband near naked. We constantly had problems and tried to consult the staff (they were friendly and spoke some English) but they only offered us a different room. When we went to view the different rooms you could smell that people had been smoking there. Other major problems included a spider crawling in the bed, the wifi not working for the majority of our stay, and the lights flickering on and off all day. We couldn’t complete our stay and left after two days.

The location was less than ideal, but that was my own fault, it is not near the most popular entrance but it is near an entrance to the park. The place itself was nice and the breakfast was good. Just beware there are stairs and no elevators so if you have heavy luggage or have difficulty with stairs keep that in mind. Also there are not many restaurants in that area and food delivery takes minimum an hour but that didn't ruin my time.

The location is excellent... Only 1 km walk from the National Park entrance. The setting includes a beautifully landscaped garden with views of the sandstone peaks from the front. We were located next to the stream which was lovely to hear. Bed was divine, room was cosy. The staff were excellent - friendly, courteous and efficient. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend a stay here to see the attractions.

The room is very good, new, clean with confortable beds. Too bad we didn't have enough time to stay longer.

Perfect location to visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park from south gate. Rooms are nice.

Good location, walking distance to the park. English speaking of staff was limited. Breakfast was standard, food for vegetarian limited. Room was great with a good shower and airco.

Except for the good location (somewhat close to the park entrance), this is a super old hotel. Breakfast was extremely basic.

It was old property. Good thing is that it is near the south gate of Forest Park but far from Wulingyuan downtown. Very silent area.

The room size is OK, the shower room is not big, but it's OK, but the waterproofing is not good enough, there is a gap underneath that leaks, there is a small balcony with clothesline, it is quite convenient to hang clothes, the sanitation is still quite clean, the garden-style hotel, the air is very good, the service is good, especially the front desk lady Liu, the service is patient and enthusiastic, helped to upgrade the newly renovated shower room, overall it is not bad, the price-performance ratio is OK 👍🏻, will recommend to friends

Accommodation for veterans to recuperate. The environment in Pipa Creek is beautiful, the room is clean, and the mattress is equipped with an electric blanket, which can keep it dry at any time. It feels very warm. The waiter is warm and thoughtful, beautiful and generous! Maybe it is considered that the visit to Zhangjiajie will be a multi-day trip. The room is equipped with up to 21 clothes hangers for drying clothes, and the balcony has iron wire, which is very convenient for drying clothes. The hotel is only 1 km away from the south gate of Zhangjiajie. It is an ideal accommodation that can be lived in for two or three consecutive days! I will definitely choose here next time! Because it is closest to Jinbian Creek...

I made a big mistake when booking a room myself, but fortunately the hotel helped me solve it. It is good to book a hotel on Ctrip. The front desk lady was very patient, and the room and breakfast were very good.

We stayed for three consecutive days. The hotel is located at the foot of the mountain with a very beautiful environment. The front desk was very enthusiastic and helped us upgrade to a high-standard hotel. She also gave us a detailed introduction to the tour route. According to her guidance, we bought a ticket for three locks and one elevator. After two days of fun, it was just right. The bed and quilt of the hotel were very comfortable. Every day after we had breakfast, the room was cleaned. The hotel has a laundry room, and the food in the restaurant is also very delicious and very hygienic. The price of the set meal is also affordable. Although the room is very tight, considering that we are bringing children, we were allowed to stay in the original room. The waiters in the whole hotel are very kind and the stay is very comfortable!
