The hotel is old, but it is in good condition. Short walk to the Market Square, swimming pool on the top floor, although small, but with a view. Bar also with a panorama of the mountains and the city. Toiletries in the bathroom, which is no longer standard in hotels. Available free of charge parking spaces nearby (weekend)

Nice Holiday Inn hotel in Zilina. Rooms are good and spacious (some more recently renovated than others). Good breakfast. Good SPA (massage). Very friendly staff. Limited street parking available. Walking distance from supermarket. Short driving distance from restaurants and bars. Recommended.

The Holiday Inn Zilina is currently located on a large construction site. This means that the walk from the train station and into the city center is short but a bit difficult. I got an upgrade, the air conditioning didn't work properly, luckily you could open the windows. Unfortunately, if you don't want to use the overpriced hotel restaurant, you have to walk 25 minutes to find a restaurant. The hotel is good for one night.

Price-performance ratio is absolutely not right! 120€ for a room without breakfast. Rooms are old, but the bed is new and comfortable. The hotel has just been renovated. Prices in the hotel restaurant are absolutely overpriced! Unfortunately, absolutely everything is overpriced for this area.
