"❤️ Super convenient! This is my favorite hotel in Hong Kong. All the front desk staff I encountered were warm and polite! The service attitude was excellent. Special thanks to the two concierge staff members who helped me with my luggage, resolved issues like the vending machine getting stuck, and to Jet for patiently helping me print documents! They added so much warmth to my tiring international trip. 💙 As a solo female traveler with three 30kg suitcases, this was an incredibly valuable choice for me! I didn't have to take my luggage off the airport trolley at all, and could even push it directly to my hotel room! 🏨 Although the facilities and decor are a bit dated, the design is well-thought-out, with a large workspace! There were few hidden dirty corners, and overall, compared to other hotels in Hong Kong at a similar price point, it was very clean and hygienic, and the bedding was comfortable! The only minor drawbacks were a musty smell indoors, air conditioning that couldn't be adjusted, and some mold marks on the bed frame. However, the service and location are impeccable, offering excellent value for money compared to other hotels near the airport!"

"This hotel, with its 852 rooms, certainly doesn't lack individual travelers from Ctrip! Indeed, it hosts many tour groups! Over 8000 reviews attest to guests' fondness for this hotel! However, a look at the negative reviews is quite telling! A 4.1 rating is considered high for a hotel in Hong Kong... One particularly memorable 1.5-star review mentioned a smoke smell in the room! After seeing a fan meet-up, I temporarily chose this hotel (mentally prepared). Upon arrival, it was nearly midnight. The front desk staff immediately asked for 'ID' without any greeting or polite language. She was very terse with her words. I could tell she was tired and eager to finish her shift by midnight... We were also very tired! Sticking to the principle of avoiding trouble when possible, I *did not* file a complaint. After showering, I discovered black marks on the bedsheets... The hotel sent a housekeeper to check. At that moment, I asked to speak with the duty manager! During the conversation, the person surprisingly said, 'The manager won't come to the room, the manager is very busy, and requesting a room change (without asking for an upgrade) is impossible today because the hotel is full. We can only change the sheets and duvet covers. And even if the manager came, she would be the one changing the sheets!' She also confirmed that the person who called the room was just the front desk staff, not the manager! That feeling of being coerced was truly speechless! It felt like a common occurrence! You shouldn't put bedsheets with obvious black stains on the bed when making it up (she then said that when housekeeping is busy, they can't pay attention). She also claimed their laundry facility is a major one... A major facility produces these results?? Previous comments in the review section mentioned 'bedding looking unwashed...' It seems this isn't an isolated incident, and this issue is a recurring one! As everyone knows, after housekeeping completes their work, the housekeeping department has a review process and even spot checks! We guests understand and appreciate the busyness and hard work of your housekeeping staff! But have you ever considered how a guest feels when they pull back the bedding to reveal glaring black marks on pristine white sheets? 💢💢💢 You are also an excellent and experienced hotel professional (evident from your professional bed-making skills). At that moment, I truly wanted to contact Ctrip concierge to cancel and switch hotels... If it weren't for a certain other hotel being closed for renovation... I wouldn't have bothered coming all the way to this hotel at this late hour to endure such frustration! Just then, the night duty manager of the hotel arrived in the room... He said a room was already prepared (actually, we no longer wanted to move). He then insisted we go check out the room, and his attitude was incredibly sincere! What was completely unexpected was — the new room was a sea-view room! I never thought the duty manager's solution would be an upgrade (I wonder if he was the same thin, arrogant man in a suit uniform mentioned by the guest who complained about the smoke smell). I also informed the manager about the check-in situation (*without filing a formal complaint*). The manager didn't side with the hotel staff but also skillfully upheld the hotel's image, saying he would verify... Anyway, there are surveillance cameras. Guests have no need to flatter or disparage; we are all just passing through, minding our own business, and simply reporting the facts... I'm writing this honest review for everyone's reference. My experience during this stay showed that the night duty manager at this hotel is very professional in his work! His words were very appropriate! His attitude was very sincere! He effectively maintained the hotel's image and reputation! He was a young, slender man in a short-sleeved shirt uniform, wearing glasses! The hotel's sea view is indeed good... Different from the Peninsula's direct Victoria Harbour view... Changing positions to see Victoria Harbour also offers a unique scenic beauty! The room facilities are very new (the green plastic chairs are a bit crude, though) and there were no issues of outdated or aging facilities as rumored! The room decor is simple and stylish! The room size at 18 square meters is indeed much larger than comparable 4-star hotels in Yau Tsim Mong which are typically 13 square meters! If you're looking for an affordable stay near Kwun Tong, the value for money is quite good! Of course, on the day of my stay, I also saw prices like 1300 as mentioned in previous reviews! This hotel's sea view and hardware are both good! As for the service, that depends on who you encounter... Checking into a hotel is always like opening a blind box! The hotel's night duty manager perfectly resolved the issue! I also did not take the compensation offered by Ctrip! Ctrip has always been very useful! Ctrip concierge has also always provided excellent service! Thank you, Ctrip, for providing this platform for guests to honestly share their real experiences! 'There's no such thing as pure gold; no one is perfect.' A hotel that addresses problems without shirking responsibility is a good hotel in the eyes of guests. The hotel's night duty manager deserves a 5.0-star rating! Before I left the room that night, he repeatedly said to call him if I had any issues... I would like to express my gratitude to the night duty manager for his coordination that night! It was almost 1 AM, so I didn't get a chance to say 'Ng goi saai' (thank you very much) to him! He would be off work in the morning, and I would check out at noon, so I wouldn't see him again... I look forward to meeting him next time!!"

"I booked this hotel to watch a show at Yabao. They offer a free shuttle bus with frequent trips, so there's no need to worry about getting to the airport. After the show at Yabao, you can walk a few hundred meters indoors directly to the hotel, which is super convenient as it's connected. The only downside is that the twin beds are really small; if you have large luggage, you won't be able to open it fully. Everything else was fine."

Shuttle buses run from this hotel to Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, AEL Tsing Yi Station and Hong Kong West Kowloon Station. This hotel also offers a range of leisure facilities including fitness center, steam and sauna room and outdoor swimming pool.

"The hotel's location is quite convenient. Although it's not close to a subway station, there's a shuttle bus service between Tsim Sha Tsui and the hotel. I saw on the official website that it also goes to Tsing Yi, but I'm not sure if that's true as the hotel staff didn't mention it. Right after checking in and getting to the room, I found a few hairs in the bathroom, suggesting it might not have been cleaned properly. However, considering the value for money, I'm still quite satisfied. I'm looking forward to the hotel's response! Also, I'd like to ask if it's possible to book the shuttle bus by phone? It would be quite inconvenient if I had to go to the hotel lobby every time to make a reservation."

Hotel near Mong Kok,Hong Kong
MK STAY is located in the core area of Mong Kok, close to Nathan Road. It is one of the popular tourist destinations in Hong Kong. The location is excellent, with everything you need for eating, drinking and entertainment available. In order to meet the needs of all types of travelers, we provide 6 different room types, with a total of 100 non-smoking rooms. All rooms feature free wireless Internet access, free local calls and free local TV channels. MKSTAY is also considerate to provide barrier-free facilities for people in need. Finally, our front desk colleagues are 24 hours services for you. Every morning, free self-service coffee is provided in the hotel lobby to welcome you have a good new day. Wish you a happy and enjoyable journey!

"I actually stayed at MK Stay for three nights, even though I only booked one night on Trip. But it doesn't matter, I'll put all my reviews here. First, let's talk about the only drawback of the room: there was a strange odor when I first entered the room. Thankfully, the diligent air conditioning quickly eliminated it. Of course, when the AC was off, the smell would slowly return (cue a wry smile). Alright, everything else deserves full marks. My excellent first impression began at the front desk on the first floor during check-in. The staff's efficient yet polite communication made me feel that choosing this hotel was the right decision. Of course, I also did some preparation before checking in. Regarding the deposit, you can pay in Hong Kong dollars, but only with cash. And I'm also more or less familiar with other regulations in Hong Kong's accommodation industry. The room's facilities visually resembled those of a Japanese business hotel. Although everything visible was very mini, the storage and placement were thoughtful. Since I booked a double bed, each bed had a warm-toned reading light, which was a nice small detail. The bathroom was a narrow, rectangular style, and the exquisite floor tiles made me feel at home. The hot water temperature was excellent. Taking a hot shower in the summer of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, followed by the intense air conditioning after stepping out of the bathroom, filled me with happiness. As a basic self-requirement for a civilized tourist, I called the front desk several times to ask where to dispose of trash and where I should place it for the hotel staff to collect from my room. The hotel front desk staff always answered my questions. Tremendous! Other small details: This time, I happened to visit MK Stay during a yellow rainstorm warning. These past few days, whenever I left my room and passed through the hotel lobby, I was always drawn to a super cute coffee machine in the corner. On a sunny day, not many people might pay attention to it, but if you've been drenched by rain or are about to head out into the rain, a hot coffee from this machine really makes you appreciate the hotel's attention to service details. Thank you also for the complimentary luggage storage service. Next time I visit Mong Kok and book your hotel, I hope I can get a room with better natural light, haha 😄. I don't even need to mention the hotel's location; it's excellent, perfect for those who want to spend a few days leisurely exploring Mong Kok."

The hotel front desk offered Mandarin service, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing a thorough overview of the hotel facilities and important information. The hotel is located in Hong Kong's Causeway Bay, a very central area, making travel extremely convenient with bus and MTR stations right downstairs. The facilities, however, are a bit dated, and there was no bottled water provided. Although the room had a bathtub, there was a minor issue with water retention for some reason. Overall, for the price in Hong Kong, staying at this hotel was very good value for money.

South Nest was surprisingly good. Tucked away in a neat little area at the backside of Hong Kong but easily accessible from downtown by public transportation. The area is nice and offers some good local food options and there are a few art galleries nearby. Staff are friendly and quick and the rooms are not big but are actually quite perfect if you don't need extra space. The large window and the view are also nice, and the common area is cozy and clean.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this Nathan hotel. The overall experience was far below my expectations. First, the front desk female staff were impolite and unprofessional during the check-in process. Their attitude made me feel unwelcome from the moment I arrived. To make matters even more disappointing, the day of my check-in was my birthday, and I had hoped to enjoy a pleasant stay. Instead, it turned into a very frustrating experience. After entering my room, I noticed that the air conditioning was not working properly. The room remained uncomfortably warm despite adjusting the temperature. I contacted the hotel, and an engineer came to inspect the air conditioner. He turned off the main power and restarted the system, but the problem remained unresolved. Rather than offering to change my room or provide an effective solution, the hotel simply gave us a fan. Providing a fan is not an acceptable solution to a faulty air conditioning system. The room remained hot and uncomfortable throughout the stay, which seriously affected my comfort, sleep quality, and overall experience. Given the poor service, the lack of professionalism, and the unresolved air conditioning issue, I believe the hotel failed to provide the standard of accommodation that guests should reasonably expect. Another male front desk staff member escorted us to Room 1004 on the Executive Floor. However, the room only had one king-size bed, and the hotel informed us that they could only provide a foldaway bed. This was completely different from the room type I had booked. My reservation was clearly for a room with two double beds, so I do not understand why the hotel failed to provide the room type that I had reserved and confirmed. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and added to my disappointment with the overall stay. The next day, the Duty Assistant Manager offered us two alternative rooms. However, neither of them was satisfactory. The first room was on the 10th floor, but it still had only one king-size bed, which did not match my original reservation. The second room was on the 5th floor and contained four twin beds in the form of two bunk beds. This room was clearly not comparable to the Executive Floor room that I had originally booked and was not suitable for our needs. I made my booking based on the expectation that the hotel would provide the room type that was confirmed in my reservation. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to do so, which significantly affected our stay. In addition to the issues mentioned above, the hair dryer in our room was also defective because the power plug had come loose and could not be used safely. I contacted the front desk to request a replacement hair dryer, but I was informed that the Housekeeping team first needed to come to the room to verify the issue before a replacement could be provided. This unnecessary process caused further inconvenience during our stay. I would, however, like to recognize the professionalism and excellent service provided by the Housekeeping staff and the bellboy. They were polite, helpful, and courteous throughout our stay, and they deserve to be commended for their efforts. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the front desk staff. Their attitude was consistently disappointing from check-in to check-out. The male staff member who assisted us during check-out was also unfriendly and unprofessional. I believe the front desk team requires further customer service training to improve their attitude and the way they communicate with guests. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. I will not stay at Nathan Hotel again, nor will I recommend it to others. I sincerely hope that Trip.com and the hotel will take this complaint seriously and provide a fair resolution to this matter.

I had a wonderful stay at WAKE Concept Hotel during my recent trip to Hong Kong. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station, making it very convenient to explore the city, visit attractions, and find local restaurants nearby. The hotel has a modern and stylish design, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Although the room size is compact, which is common in Hong Kong, the layout is efficient and provides everything needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were good. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. For travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and good-value hotel in a central location, WAKE Concept Hotel is an excellent choice. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hong Kong.

Wow, I was really impressed by the thoughtful touches the moment I walked in! For a central Hong Kong location, this hostel offers pretty good value for money. I did my homework before coming (once in Spain, I didn't plan ahead and almost got pickpocketed!). While Hong Kong's streets and alleys are narrow and prices are high, the experience here is much better than the guesthouses I stayed at in Korea and Japan. I can even say this in my (bad) Cantonese – I'm a huge TVB fan! The transportation is super convenient; just take the elevator from Tsim Sha Tsui Exit D1 directly to the 13th floor, and the front desk is right there (it's very noticeable, and the chubby guy at the front desk is quite cute). I carefully checked my booking details before arriving and contacted the hostel 48 hours in advance, so the self-check-in process was incredibly smooth and easy. The building itself is a very typical Hong Kong commercial-residential building, making you feel like you're on a TVB set – it has so much character! I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance! The only minor regret is that the Mixue Ice Cream & Tea (bubble tea shop) across the street closed down, and other bubble tea places are a bit pricey – Hong Kong is quite expensive, haha. Highly recommend!

The location is excellent for travelers who prefer commuting by walking, bus or tram rather than relying on the MTR. Situated in Wan Chai, the hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafés, and it offers convenient access to nearby areas such as Central, Causeway Bay, and other parts of Hong Kong. One of the biggest advantages is the easy access to the A11 airport bus, making travel to and from the airport simple without the need to take the Airport Express. The room is spacious, well-equipped with all the essential amenities, and features a comfortable bed and a practical work desk, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers.

I really enjoyed my stay here! It was especially cool for me to stay in this particular building because it's where the famous movie 'Chungking Express' was filmed. That alone makes the place special and gives it a unique vibe. The room was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room cool, which was especially important in the hot and humid weather. I also want to give a special shout-out to the host. He was very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. Check-in was quick, and I was even able to check in earlier than the set time.

Gigantic hotel room for the price and Hong Kong), very impressive view. Also the small size of the hotel might be favorable for some travelers, totally up to personal opinion though. I personally prefer this type of accommodation. Also the amazing local community where people prefer bike rides, quite different vibe from people of HK Island and Kowloon. The hotel also provided 1hr-free bike rent upon my check-in. Also very amazing and friendly staff at the restaurant. In general definitely a trip worth it!
