The hotel has got great staff overall I would recommend to others also of its excellent location. .Mdm in the front gate (didn’t get her name) a wonderful staff to this hotel for her dedication to her work. She helped us to make a booking to our high speed location due to our urgent requirement. Mdm Zhang Fu Yun is helpful and responsible, she delivered our washed clothes back on time after the wash as promised. Keep it up!

I'm so glad I started my Xi'an trip here. It really hit all the right spots, to the point where I seriously considered extending my stay for another day… but in the end, I decided to experience other hotels as well. [Location] It's right by Yongning Gate, next to the city wall, perfectly avoiding the city's traffic jams, which is super convenient for those who rely on taxis for getting around. There's also a subway station nearby. Plus, there are tons of delivery options and amazing places to eat, from breakfast to dinner, snacks, bubble tea, BBQ, and late-night eats – you could literally spend all day just eating! It's also a pleasant walk to the Bell Tower. [View] Pull back the curtains and there's the city wall. Whether it's the grandeur of the day or the dazzling lights at night, I could never get enough of it. [Service] The service was absolutely fantastic! It's been a long time since I've experienced such heartwarming service. Every staff member was so enthusiastic and friendly, from the front desk ladies to the aunties in the restaurant. Everyone served with a smile and went out of their way to provide help within their means. [Environment] (1) The decor, design, and murals really resonated with everyone; there are so many photo opportunities within the hotel itself. (2) Even if you don't have a city wall view room, the outdoor bar offers a spectacular view of the city wall. Sitting there watching the sunset, scrolling on your phone, and enjoying afternoon tea – it's incredibly cozy. (3) The small table in the triple room was perfect for ordering takeout with friends, happily eating and chatting, with Xi'an's city wall right outside the window. After a full meal, you can just lean back and feel completely content without even stepping out. However, if you're a workaholic and need to work overtime, the restaurant might be a more convenient spot. (4) The beds, pillows, and bath products were all very well-received. [Facilities] The pillows, bedding, and toiletries were all highly praised. [Activities] They offer airport pick-up and drop-off, a rubbings activity, free Hanfu rental, and there are many foreign guests as well. [Heads-up] For city wall view rooms facing the road, because they primarily feature glass curtain walls and windows, you might hear the sound of motorcycles with loud exhausts. However, since it's not continuous, it didn't affect our sleep. But it could be a concern for those who are sensitive to noise or are very light sleepers. BUT! The front desk thoughtfully provides earplugs! [Other] When I checked in, it felt like there weren't many guests. Perhaps it's because the price is relatively higher? Or maybe there are too many hotels in the vicinity, leading to intense competition and diverting some guests. However, with the amazing view + cultural experience + airport transfer + excellent service + great location + wonderful ambiance, I feel like it's hard to beat.

The reception desk was super welcoming. There were two girls on the desk, and I stood at the desk for at least like 10 seconds before they before I was standing there even though I said ”Ni Hao”. They look so miserable and couldn't even smile. The hotel must treat them so terribly. The room wall was full black scratch marks every where. The hotel looks only 50% like the photo. The cleaner did the bare minimum, my sink was dirty and didn't even clean it. Don't believe about the gym or amenities. The only thing I like about the hotel is the location and the neighborhood. It feel very authentic and cozy neighborhood with lively students and nice fast local eateries. There is a cozy Cafe near by.

A beautifully presented central hotel inside the Xi’an walls, which offers some really nice amenities such as afternoon tea, costumed photo shoots and sweet dessert supper. The staff were really attentive and friendly. They were happy to help us investigate an initial air con smell in the room and arranged to have it cleaned which appeared to solve the issue quickly. The room had a great view looking at the Xi’an walls and was controllable using a smart interface. The bed was clean, large and comfortable.

My stay at Gaya Hotel was absolutely perfect, a definite five-star experience! The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive. Housekeeping was done punctually every day, and the cleanliness was impeccable, even in the corners – it made for a really comfortable stay. The front desk was super thoughtful during check-in; I arrived early, and they not only arranged my check-in smoothly but also upgraded my room for free, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff patiently introduced me to nearby attractions and detailed travel routes, kindly advising me on which snack stalls to avoid (the ones that aren't good value) and recommending good shopping malls in the vicinity. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right by a subway entrance, so you can reach most attractions directly by metro, making travel hassle-free and quick. From the service attitude and cleanliness to the convenient location, everything was faultless, offering excellent value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Our stay was incredibly comfortable this time! The room was spotless, which was very pleasant to see, and the bed was so soft, I slept like a baby until morning. The decor here is beautiful, and the host is wonderful – so warm and genuine, patiently helping with any issues we had. The host personally picked us up and dropped us off, and the location is easy to find and convenient for getting around. The guesthouse even has its own restaurant, offering amazing value for money! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit, I truly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient! Right downstairs, there's an entire street filled with delicious snacks and food. It's also right next to the Bell Tower, and the subway station is nearby, making it super accessible. The hotel even upgraded us to a family suite for free, which was absolutely fantastic! For my trip to Xi'an, I chose the Dongshe Hotel, and its location is absolutely unbeatable, right near the Bell Tower, making it super convenient to visit the Muslim Quarter and Drum Tower. But what surprised me most wasn't the location, but their attention to detail in service. I have to praise the housekeeping; the humidifier in the room was such a thoughtful touch, especially great for those traveling during season changes or to dry areas – my skin didn't feel tight all night. Every staff member I interacted with, from the friendly front desk team at check-in, to the housekeeping auntie, and the restaurant staff, was incredibly sincere and enthusiastic. It wasn't just a professional smile; you could genuinely feel they were dedicated to helping you. The overall experience was fantastic; not only was my stay comfortable, but it also lifted my spirits. The daily afternoon tea and 'goodnight sweet soup' were also thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Xi'an; it's definitely worth staying here.

The room was very spacious, giving the kids plenty of room to play, and the bed was so soft, everyone slept soundly. The cleanliness was impeccable, with every corner spotless. The staff were always friendly and greeted my kids, and we weren't disturbed at all at night. Overall, the experience was fantastic. This is definitely my first choice for family travel, and I've already saved it for future reference!
