"Staying at different hotels is like opening a blind box, always bringing a unique experience. We checked in on the afternoon of the 3rd, and it was pouring rain. As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, my immediate expectation was excellent luggage and shuttle service from the hotel staff, given the bad weather. It's not about being picky, but all the hotels I've stayed at previously, across various price points, have proactively offered luggage assistance, especially in such conditions. However, the shuttle driver simply watched from the car while I struggled in the rain to load each piece of luggage, without offering any help. This kind of service was extremely disappointing. Of course, the hotel's overall positioning and advantages are quite clear; its pet-friendly theme allows both adults and children to enjoy nature and have fun. Overall, it met expectations. As a service industry, there's still significant room for improvement, especially regarding first impressions."

"Good business hotel , near from futian market and lots of convenience stores and restaurants nearby . The rooms are relatively good compared to the price . One issue I had was that some of the staff wasn’t very friendly. I asked for some extra bottles of water and I was met with sarcasm that I couldn’t drink that much in one day !!!"

"As we were traveling with our child, we specifically booked the Haoyi Hotel near Ding'an Road Metro Station. It's incredibly close to the West Lake scenic area, and you can take the metro directly to the high-speed rail station, Xiaoshan Airport, and Intime in77. It's also not far from China Silk City, making it very convenient. The hotel environment is elegant, and the air is fresh. Opening the window, you're right on Nansong Imperial Street, which has a wonderful ancient charm. The front desk staff are all young, very friendly, and provided warm and thoughtful service, helping us solve many problems – we're very grateful! The breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options and is quite rich, basically meeting different needs. Other service staff were also always smiling and very friendly, which made us feel very comfortable. We highly recommend it for families traveling with children."

"I came to Hangzhou for a trip and specifically chose a hotel close to the West Lake. I was very satisfied with my stay. The weather in Hangzhou these past few days has been great too—with bright sunny days that make for amazing photos. The hotel facilities are fully equipped and well-maintained. They even have a laundry room, which made traveling so much more hassle-free. They also offered us a free late check-out until 2:00 PM, allowing us to get plenty of rest."

"I had to change my initial room due to an issue with the power outlet, and was relocated to the room above the trendy restaurant ”2C Bing”. To my surprise, it turned out to be the popular internet-famous restaurant 2C Bing itself, so I ended up having two meals there. I ordered different dishes each time, and every home-style dish was genuinely delicious. According to the owner, each guesthouse is only allowed to set up two tables, which is why there's always a queue for a table. The room has a charming, antique style with well-maintained amenities and a pretty decent size. Staying right inside the scenic area allows you to take a night walk and experience the unique night scenery of Wuzhen's water towns."

"The hotel is located in a bustling downtown area, right above a local market, which makes it lively but also prone to traffic jams. However, it's quite convenient for walking and shopping. The room itself was clean and tidy, though not very spacious. The service was warm and attentive, and any check-in issues were resolved promptly. In the lobby on the first floor, there are complimentary snacks and drinks available. The breakfast was also good, and my child really enjoyed it. There's an old-established wonton shop nearby called 'Chang Ren Wonton' that I thought was delicious. I didn't drive, but based on how congested the area is, parking would probably be a hassle."

The hotel seems to have been converted from an older Hanting or all seasons hotel, and the lobby is very clean. There's also a laundry room and gym on the basement level. The room facilities are a bit dated, and the lighting is a little dim. Even though there are 'no smoking' signs, there's still a faint smell of smoke, which is probably due to inconsiderate guests. However, the service is spot on, especially for this price point – absolutely no complaints there."

Check-in was quick, and the room was clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping cleaned promptly and thoroughly every day. The front desk and staff were enthusiastic and quick to resolve issues. There was a minor hiccup with the room type during my stay, but it was promptly and satisfactorily resolved."

"I traveled to Hangzhou alone after the National Day holiday and finally experienced the renowned West Lake State Guest House. I stayed in a 2nd-floor balcony king room in Building 8. Overall, the environment and location are top-notch, but the service and facilities fall a bit short. First, regarding the location and environment: it's right on Yanggong Causeway, close to Wuguitan. Exploring the Ten Scenes of West Lake and taking a manual wooden boat from Majiawan Pier are super convenient. The hotel has its own Dingjiashan Hill—not very high, but very serene. Walking up the steps after breakfast to overlook West Lake, following in the footsteps of great leaders and experiencing a glimpse of their daily lives, is a truly unique experience. The hotel gardens are massive and meticulously maintained. Taking a stroll by the lake with a distant view of the Su Causeway offers genuinely stunning scenery. Next, the facilities: based on travel guides, I chose Building 8, which is relatively new, yet I still found the facilities overly dated. Specifically, I encountered the following issues: 1. The gap under the room door is huge. People talking and walking in the hallway sounded as if they were right inside the room. Every time someone next door swiped their keycard, it gave me a start, making me think someone was accidentally trying to enter my room. 2. The TV is ancient—very, very small, with a terrible picture—and the remote control has poor responsiveness, which really detracts from the stay. 3. The balcony screen door was extremely hard to slide. After I managed to force it open the first time, I couldn't close it at all. 4. The exhaust fan switch in the toilet did nothing when pressed. 5. Overall cleanliness looked okay, but lacked attention to detail. Upon checking in, I found a live spider in the bathtub. After spending the day out sightseeing, I returned to find turndown service had been done and a bath mat placed in the shower area, but the spider was still there. 6. Only soft pillows were provided, with no latex pillows available; the support was abysmal. As for the service, the staff felt very robotic and lacked warmth. The young receptionists in the lobby rarely took the initiative to greet guests, though the older staff were relatively better. Regarding dining: Ziwei Hall, the hotel's Black Pearl-rated restaurant, was underwhelming. Given the price, the food offered no particular surprises, and most signature dishes had no discounts for in-house guests. Ordering food delivery (Waimai) is also quite inconvenient: delivery drivers must leave the orders at the main gate, where staff pick them up in a golf cart, bring them to the building, and then a delivery robot brings them up to your floor. One small detail: the complimentary evening fruit included fresh jujubes and yellow dragon fruit (pitahaya). Yellow dragon fruit is something that needs to be cut with a knife—how are guests supposed to eat it? I really don't understand the hotel's choice of amenities. To sum up, this state guest house is exceptionally well-suited for bringing your parents; older folks will likely love it. However, the overall comfort level of the facilities is quite poor, very dated, and fails to meet the habits and expectations of younger travelers."

"We were extremely satisfied with this hotel, which we chose for our couple's getaway! The Anju Tatami King Room had a fantastic atmosphere, was impeccably clean, and featured convenient smart devices. The location is great, close to Tianyi Square, making dining, shopping, and entertainment super convenient. The staff were attentive and caring, the hotel environment was quiet, and we got a wonderful night's sleep. Every aspect exceeded our expectations with great value for money. Definitely worth a stay if you visit Ningbo."
