"Enjoyed our stay in Bintan and it was a great choice to choose Four Points. Breakfast at Rempah Restaurant has a great variety. My kids enjoy the kids club and activities provided. We didnt really travel out to explore bintan as we wanted the kids to chill and enjoy the pool and beach. Nearest food options and small shopping area at plaza lagoi is just 5mins walking distance. Cons: we actually booked cabana king room for our stay as we wanted more space for the kids to move around, it was featured at 50m2 room which is bigger than normal room. When we first checked into the room we paid, the room seems a bit run down and to make it worst, the outdoor cabana was soaking wet! We requested for a downgrade to normal room without a cabana. And the price difference for both room for 4d3n is $200 plus. I tried asking for any meal vouchers or dining credits in view of the stark price difference, but didnt get any. 😣"

"The villa’s location is a huge plus since it’s right next to Plaza Lagoi, giving you easy access to Mustafa and convenience stores whenever needed. Lagoi Bay Beach is also within walking distance, which made the stay even more convenient. The villa itself felt very private and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our 3-year-old had an amazing time in the private pool and barely wanted to leave. Breakfast was served in-room and was fairly simple, but the pancakes and American breakfast were definitely the better choices. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back for a quiet escape to unwind, swim, and relax by the private pool."

"Staying in Cassia Bintan was the perfect sanctuary I needed to recharge and getaway from the busy city life. This 'me-time' was exactly what I needed to find my peace again. The hospitality started the moment I arrived—I was greeted by Arya at the counter, who was incredibly helpful and kind. His warm welcome immediately put me at ease as a solo traveller. I truly appreciated the shuttle bus provided by Cassia from the ferry terminal; it felt very safe and organized, which is so important for solo female travellers. The room itself was a dream. I loved the blue colour of the room. This soothing blue wall creates a calm space where I can truly relax. It's spacious and clean. My favourite spot was the well-equipped kitchenette and the nice private balcony; the air felt so clean and fresh, and it was such a serene place for me to sit and do my painting. I love the sea so much, and the serene beach was so therapeutic. The pristine white sand and the shimmering turquoise blue sea were breathtaking. Being able to stroll along the shore every single day while listening to the gentle sea waves was the perfect way to clear my mind. I also loved spending time at Vista—sipping on their refreshing lime juice while soaking in the stunning sea view was pure bliss. The food at Lotus Cafe was delicious, and the staff always greeted me with a warm smile. Having the market 23 nearby was also so convenient for snacks and essentials. "I've stayed at Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Batam twice this year, in February and May 2026, and once again, the experience exceeded expectations. This time, I booked an Executive Twin room for my mother-in-law and her friend for a short getaway from 30 May to 1 June 2026. The location is excellent—directly opposite Grand Batam Mall, making shopping, dining, and entertainment incredibly convenient. The hotel is also right next to Eska Wellness Spa, where guests can enjoy massages, hair treatments, manicures, and pedicures, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Even before arrival, the service was impressive. I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp regarding a few special requests, and the staff were professional, responsive, and genuinely accommodating throughout the process. Some highlights of the stay included: • Spacious and spotlessly clean room • Comfortable beds that provided a good night's rest • Hot and cold water dispensers available at every lift lobby • Smart TV with access to Netflix, YouTube, and other entertainment options • Excellent breakfast spread with a wide variety of local and international selections • Complimentary hi-tea, which was a delightful surprise and made the afternoons even more enjoyable What truly sets this hotel apart is its people. Every staff member—from the front desk and housekeeping team to the chefs, waiters, and bellboys—provided exceptional service with warmth, professionalism, and genuine friendliness throughout the stay. My mother-in-law and her friend did not have the opportunity to use the hotel facilities such as the swimming pool and gym during this stay, so we are unable to comment on those. However, based on their overall experience, they truly enjoyed every moment here and appreciated the comfort, convenience, and hospitality provided. "Stayed at Holiday Inn Resort Bintan with my toddler and had a mix of positive and negative experiences. We booked a pool access room, which was extremely convenient with a young child. Service throughout our stay was excellent, and the team was always helpful. They also assisted with printing our ferry boarding passes and arranged the complimentary shuttle to the ferry terminal. The food at Warung Pak Lagoi was decent, and the service there was especially attentive. The restaurant also offers free koi fish feeding, which my toddler enjoyed. On our last day, the fish food had run out, but a lovely staff member went the extra mile to get us a small packet so my child could still participate. The shuttle to Plaza Lagoi runs hourly, but if you miss it, you'll have to wait for the next one, so plan accordingly. Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our stay. The Kids Club was quite disappointing compared to the photos online, with very limited activities, missing items and play options available. There was also power trip on our first night. As our toddler was already asleep, changing rooms wasn't a practical option for us. More concerning was that the entire resort experienced two power outages on our second night. We happened to be outdoors during one of them, and the blackout was completely pitch dark. It was quite frightening as we weren't holding our toddler's hand at that exact moment and couldn't see anything around us. Overall, the staff and service were the highlights of our stay, but the repeated power outages and underwhelming Kids Club made the experience less enjoyable than expected."

"Hotel located in Nagoya hill mall. Very convenient for nearby meals / shopping. TV only got YouTube should include local channels so at least can keep updated on local news. Soundproofing of rooms needs to be enhanced. Will still recommend to stay for the convenient location."

"Requested for a higher floor away from the bar but got a room on the 6th floor, just right above the bar on the 3rd floor. Rooms are not sound proof so we could hear the bar playing music till midnight plus we can hear sounds from the other room when walking in the corridor. On our last day we decided to have the hotel breakfast and the live meat grilling station started producing a lot of smoke, making the entire hotel lobby choked up with smoke due to poor ventilation. Had to shift outdoors to continue our meal. Location is also far from most attractions but it was not much of a problem since grab rides are easily available an affordable."

"We recently celebrated a special getaway at Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel and it truly felt like we had rented the whole place for ourselves. The atmosphere was so peaceful, exclusive, and romantic — perfect for spending quality time with my wife. The hotel itself is incredibly unique, with so much history and character. Staying inside a beautifully restored ship made the entire experience unforgettable. Every corner had a charming nautical touch, and the ambiance throughout the property was elegant yet cozy. One of our favorite spots was the infinity pool overlooking the sea. The view during sunset was absolutely breathtaking, and the calm surroundings made it feel like a private paradise. We spent hours just relaxing by the pool, enjoying the ocean breeze and quiet atmosphere. The restaurants were also very good. The food was delicious, breakfast had plenty of variety, and the dining ambiance was warm and relaxing. Having dinner with the sea view and soft lighting created such a romantic mood for our celebration. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always attentive, which made the experience even more comfortable. The entire property was clean, beautifully maintained, and surprisingly quiet despite being such a famous landmark. If you are looking for a romantic escape, peaceful retreat, or simply a unique experience in Bintan, I highly recommend Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel. It was a memorable celebration with my wife, and we will definitely come back again.
