I visited this place ***** with my friends. The location is in the heart of the City. We visited this place for dinner and we enjoyed taking pictures by the pool area. The team was attentive, professional, and always ready to assist, but one staff member, in particular, stood out—Verdi. Verdi was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Not only did he ensure we had everything we needed at the hotel, but he also provided us with invaluable local knowledge. He recommended some offbeat places to explore, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip. While we had already planned to visit a few popular tourist spots, Verdi’s suggestions gave us the opportunity to experience the more hidden gems of the area. These less-known places were unique and allowed us to see a side of the destination that most visitors might miss. Thanks to his recommendations, we ventured off the beaten path and explored areas that were peaceful, scenic, and rich in culture. It made our trip even more memorable. Verdi’s genuine care and attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. Overall, the hotel offered excellent service, and we were very impressed by the staff, especially Verdi. I stay in Woodstock resort It was such a wonderful stay The services are very good Rooms are nicely maintained Clean room Food is yummy Staff are so polite and courteous Highly recommend must visit this place Lovely place surrounded by mountains And from restaurant the view is awesome You can have food with lovely view of paddy field and mountain Weather changes immediately Love the place

The hotel should be a famous hotel in the local area! However, it is incomparable with the domestic 4 star hotel. The first hotel is relatively old, and the second hotel's supplies are relatively inferior. Only the staff are still pretty good, attitude is good, only live for one day, so in addition to feeling expensive, feeling worthwhile, the mood is not too bad! One night of transition, nothing to worry about!

This is a simple, clean and quiet place to stay at while at Shillong. The rooms are large enough for a couple. The property is in a quieter part of the town. The staff at the reception, are friendly and efficient. The only area for improvement is breakfast. It is too simple. If they could add some fruit to begin with, it would make a big difference.

Orange Homestay is an excellent accommodation and is above Frank motors (Tata motors dealer). The rooms are spacious and very clean. The terrace is awesome as they have many flowering plants which are blooming. The food is also good but at times the wait time is more. The staff are very helpful and service oriented. They don't expect Tips. Very polite and well mannered. Breakfast options are limited but serving is generous and unlimited. There is only 1 chef and he arrives around 7 am. So the earliest you can expect the Breakfast is at 7:30 am. It would be either of Poori or Bhature or Aloo Paratha ***** with bread toast and bread sandwich. Whatever they cook is tasty. Coming to the drawbacks. 1) No lift. If you get room at 3rd floor then it will be difficult for elderly 2) The accommodation is on Laitmor/Mawblei main road which is always busy and very noisy. Sleeping in the night will be slightly difficult due to the vehicles making noise. 3) Very far away from Police bazaar. You need at least 1 hour by car to reach police bazaar though the distance is only 6 kms. Shillong traffic is pathetic. Taxi guys fleece you. It costed us 400 to come from Police Bazar to Orange homestay. There is no car parking as well at Police bazaar. So if you are keen to spend time on shopping then Orange homestay may not be the right place. We stayed in room 111 at 3rd floor and the room is massive in size. Very thoughtfully stocked with hot packs, geyser, Air conditioning which can also double up as heater, extra blankets etc.

The location of the inn is very serene and scenic. The rooms are small but clean and cosy. Loved that all the rooms had electric water kettle and complimentary tea. The complimentary breakfast was very tasty but lacked variety. The cafe/resturant at the rooftop is beautiful and the food delicious. The cons were the small road leading to the inn and limited parking.

Absolutely worth it! We only stayed at the pear tree for one night but wish we could have stayed longer! Even with one night the owner and staff made such an impression. The room is elegant (beautifully furnished) with original hardwood floors and a proper place for your luggage. We needed to arrange a driver to go to the airport, they booked us one right away. If you are coming to Shillong, this is the place to stay. The location is great, the people are incredibly friendly, and breakfast is provided. The taxi driver didn’t know how to get to it at first but the hotel staff happily got on the phone with the driver and we had no problems getting there after that. If you need any suggestions on where to go they also have great knowledge of the area and surrounding areas. We hope to come again.

Very nice hotel I had a Wonderful stay Hotel is in the middle of police bazar Also hotel itself has a mall for shopping Love the place the most Weather is awesome Staff and overall services are excellent Food is delicious There are different place to visit We will visit again Thank you everyone
