Christmas in Auckland
#2023travelwish Christmas in Auckland in 2022 is my most unforgettable travel. I’m here right now meeting my little nephew for the first time and I’ll wish to come back every year if I can! And there’s so much to see, smell and eat here. Take a walk around Auckland Domain and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful blooms at Wintergardens.
Get culturally infused at the Auckland Art Gallery, War Memorial and catch a movie at Silo Park.
There’s an abundance of cuisine here that will surely suit everyone's taste bud as well! So no worries for gourmands.
My trip is coming to an end and all I wish for Christmas is to come back to Auckland in 2023 as there’s so much more to explore! Perhaps a trip to the South Island this time.#2023travelwish ##celebratewithtrip #urbanexplorer #summervacation #awesomepic

Travelling to New Zealand is like a dream come true😍. Seeing the tower in New Zealand makes you feel like its over😍. I have been in Guangzhou Tower in China many times but it's quite different seeing the tower in New Zealand. You have to try travelling different countries and compare different places inside the country. I love to travel around the world......❤️

Dormant volcanoes and city views in Auckland!
Auckland was certainly not my favorite city in the world, but it had some pretty gems! Check out the deets below to check what you should hit up 👌
Getting There - Auckland Airport is the oblivious choice here and there’s public transport options to take from the airport to the city. I opted for the $18 skydrive bus as it only took 40 minutes to reach the CBD.
Attractions - 1️⃣ Take the short ferry ride to Devonport and walk up to Victoria Summit for great views of the city at sunset 🌅2️⃣Take a slightly longer ferry ride to Rangitoto Island and hike up to the summit of the dormant volcano for more breathtaking views! (Be sure to check the ferry schedule to this island as it’s not very frequent and you don’t want to get stuck!) 3️⃣ Check out Mount Eden to see the skyline from a different perspective (Auckland has a lot of dormant volcanoes to hike 😂)4️⃣ Explore the CBD and check out the architecture and if you want to, go up the top of the sky tower (I didn’t as I didn’t think it was worth the price when the city has so many hills and mountains to climb up).
Hotels - I stayed in the Holiday Inn Express Auckland City and it was great. It had good sound insulation, big rooms and wonderful buffet style breakfast! 🏩
Food & Restaurants - There are lots of food options in the city and to be honest I didn’t eat much as I was so full from my hotel breakfast. But one place I would recommend is the Seafood Collective 🐟at Mt Eden. They have excellent fish and chips and, coming from Ireland, I was very impressed.
Shopping 🛍️ - Check out the Dress Smart outlets near Onehunga. It’s easy to reach by bus number 30 from the downtown and they have some really good deals for well known brands. Downtown on Queen Street you’ll find the farmers department store which is also pretty good!

Christmas Decoration Hunting in Auckland
#christmas2023 #vianasjourney
Christmas is certainly filled with colourful lights and bright decorations. So today on my short stay in Auckland, I spent the time I had to capture some decorations that stand out in the city area. I was hoping to see more fun and colourful decorations but I wasn’t lucky time. Once happy with my pictures, I get myself some boiled mussels with white wine and creamy sauce at The Occidental. It was a nice way to end the day.

Auckland City Scape
Auckland is a multicultural urban oasis of arts and culture, food and activities. Getting to the city via the ferry is a great way to start exploring the city.
Starting from Queen's Wharf, make your way to the city's main thoroughfare, Queen's Street which bustles with shoppers. The street is the city's cultural gem filled with a host of unique eateries and stores.
A great way to explore is by foot, but be sure to wear very comfy shoes as the undulating streets can prove tiring to some.#auckland #urbanexplorer #summervacation

Smooth ice cream
Giapo is an ice cream shop located in Auckland Central Business District. It serves delicious ice cream in cones or tub’s depending on your choice. Portions are good for sharing with 1-2 person.
Staff prepares the cone fresh and various toppings on site with the various ingredients through transparent windows.
Do drop by the store if you are planning to be in Auckland.

There aren't many games in Auckland, but after going to the zoo in the morning and shopping in the city in the afternoon, it is a good choice to go to Mount Eden to watch the sunset before sunset.
Mount Eden is the tallest of the many volcanic cones in Auckland and is the natural highest point in Auckland. By bus, take the 274/277 bus from the city centre's Queen St Outside Cpo, Stop 7044 to 272 Mt Eden Rd, or tell the driver to get off at Mt Eden Domain. After getting off the bus, go back one or two minutes to the entrance to the mountain. The Auckland Discovery Bus also has a site here.
By the way, recommend an downtown restaurant

The southern hemisphere at this time is just a warm summer. On this New Year's Day, go to Auckland. It has the romance of the lights on the sky tower. It has the warmth of the harbor city. At the same time, it is also the first country in the world to enter 2019. Based on this, your New Year is lying. Win a circle of friends~

New Zealand's first stop is Auckland, which goes straight to the highest point in Auckland. This extinct crater is like the microscopic Jeju Island. Zhou Yexiang climbed the mountain in high heels. I told Ke Ke: Don't tell her that there is still 1.6 kilometers, otherwise she will definitely not climb.
Going to the heights, seeing the scenery, the wild elephant said: Wow, its worth it, its so beautiful, forgetting to be angry while walking on the road.
The advantage of taking a boat here is that you can bring a lot of clothes, anyway, on the boat. However, we all found that half of the summer clothes could not be worn at all. We paused between winter and summer.
Travel has been more than ten days. A little tired~ a little bit homesick~

Auckland is New Zealand's largest city, located in the northern part of New Zealand, with a population of 1.36 million, facing the sea on three sides and backing on the other.
It can be said that no city has the geographical advantage of Auckland, sandwiched between two bays, surrounded by fertile farmland. In addition, the entire city is built along the volcano, so there is a reputation for the city of volcanoes. As the sea is close at hand, according to incomplete statistics, there are one yacht for every three households. The docks of the whole city are docked with about 138,000 yachts. The reputation of the famous City of Thousands of Sails is coming.
The peak season is from December 20 to mid-January. It is best to book the room in advance and avoid this time. Although this is the case, I suggest you avoid Christmas and New Year holidays when you go, because Auckland will almost become an empty city at that time, and many cafes and restaurants are closed because the citizens there are going to the beach to enjoy the holidays. It is.

In Auckland, you can come to the sacred Maori tribe before sunrise, participate in the sunrise ceremony of the millennium history, and plant the wishes of writing under the rainbow with the native trees of New Zealand on the land of the tribe...

Our photographers are also using cameras to record the color of each wine, and to promote each wine to more people. I feel that working and living in the winery is a very happy thing, you can drink differently every day. The wine, smelling the smell of different wines, do you say so happy?
The wines here are all packed in wooden barrels. I have won many honors. I have seen many medals. The owner also took us to visit their field production base. It is really big, let him tell me that there is still A bigger one, this is just a small part, it is a collection of fine wines.

Then I ended the extreme sports of stimulation, and my appetite became special. It was very rich. I came to a restaurant from a Cantonese restaurant. They all had the most special chefs in the local area. When they entered the door, they saw huge The lobster and abalone, if you look at the appearance, you should have lived for a few decades, and you have this type of body. We introduced this unique lobster, which is full of meat, almost 800 yuan a catty, a shrimp 4 kg, HKD. It should be around 3000+, it is a rich restaurant.
There is a raw Antarctic shrimp, which is the first dish. It is not particularly suitable for me to eat such a dish. It is also because it is rare and it is normal once. It is said that such a shrimp will only be picked up. It will only be thawed once, retaining the taste of the meat. It is really delicious with the soy sauce. The raw shrimp is so delicious. The shell of this shrimp is also very hard. It should be cold-resistant.

Auckland is New Zealand's largest city. When I walked out of the airport, I felt the feeling of the city for the first time. The villages and towns in the past were too few people. For the first time, I felt a traffic jam in New Zealand. Life, at least you can eat food from around the world - such as Chinese food!
When the car is driving open, you can see the iconic Auckland Sky Tower. The blue water is amazing and sparkles under the clouds. In New Zealand, people who are sitting around the lake and enjoying the sun can be seen everywhere.
After watching the Sky Tower, we went to the Labour Party Monument and built it on a small hill. There is a beautiful lawn. It stands in front of the monument and it is surrounded by the sea. It is amazing.
Auckland is also known as the capital of thousands of sails, so of course you have to look at the beautiful sailing boats on the pier. Most of the sailing boats here are privately owned, renting a stop to stop their love boat, a boat Generally more expensive than a house. The bright sunshine with the white mast sailing is a wonderful scene.

Going abroad can also satisfy your Chinese stomach

This Chinese restaurant is in a very good location, not far from the sky tower, the dining environment is equivalent, you can choose The table in the room can enjoy the view from the window while eating food.

Auckland is the most important big city in New Zealand's North Island. There are many domestic flights that have already opened direct flights to Auckland.
For example, we are taking a flight from Air New Zealand's Shanghai direct flight to Auckland. The journey is 11 hours. Air New Zealand's service is also super good. There is also an air sofa to choose from. I will make a special note later. Share the notes about Air New Zealand.
Auckland must-see attractions:
sky tower, you can choose to visit the tower on the sky tower, you can also choose super exciting SKY JUMP or sky walk! Imagine jumping from the 192-meter tower at a speed of 85km per second. I think the legs are soft
night, I can go to the sailing tower near the sky tower to watch the sunset. The shooting delay is very good. Angle. Susu is very beautiful~
