#traveldiaries One of the first things I did upon arriving in Auckland was visit the iconic Sky Tower, which stands tall in the city’s skyline at 328 meters. The observation deck offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the city, the harbor, and even the distant islands. For thrill-seekers, there’s the option to do the SkyWalk around the top of the tower or the SkyJump for a rush of adrenaline. After taking in the city from above, I spent some time at Viaduct Harbour, a buzzing area filled with waterfront restaurants, bars, and cafes. The atmosphere here is lively, and it’s the perfect spot to enjoy fresh seafood while watching boats come and go from the marina. I recommend visiting at sunset, as the harbor lights up and offers a picturesque backdrop for an evening out.
