Traveling by Train in Germany
Traveling to Europe, taking the train is a great choice. Europe's rail network connects the continent, and with high-speed trains, you can travel from one country to another in just two to three hours. Moreover, train stations are usually located in city centers. This time, I took the train from the Czech Republic to Berlin. Berlin is a historic city with plenty to see, and its zoo is also a lot of fun.
Berlin autumn colors are great 🍻
#fallcolors
Autumn in Berlin was simply stunning! The city’s iconic streets were lined with golden trees, and the cool, crisp air made exploring so refreshing. I started at the Brandenburg Gate, which is free to visit and surrounded by colorful foliage this time of year. Walking down Unter den Linden, with the leaves falling around me, felt almost magical.
I also visited the Reichstag building, which has free entry to the dome if you book in advance. The view from the top was breathtaking, especially with the city dressed in autumn colors. Later, I strolled through Tiergarten, where the paths are beautifully blanketed with fallen leaves. Berlin in autumn is perfect for exploring, whether you're into history, art, or just love cozy city vibes! 🍂🕌🌳

New Architectural Fusion - The Reichstag Building.
The Reichstag Building, one of Berlin's most iconic landmarks, was originally constructed between 1884 and 1894. Since 1999, it has been the seat of the German Parliament (Bundestag). This building has a rich and tumultuous history, witnessing the rise and fall of the German Empire, the Weimar Republic, and Nazi Germany. In 1933, it was severely damaged by a fire and further damaged during World War II. After German reunification, the renowned architect Sir Norman Foster meticulously restored and modernized the building. Today, it stands as a symbol of German unity and democracy, attracting millions of visitors each year who come to appreciate its historical significance and architectural splendor.
The architectural design of the Reichstag Building blends historical and modern elements. Initially designed by Paul Wallot in a Neo-Renaissance style, the building's grand facade features Corinthian columns and intricate stone carvings. The most striking feature is the modern glass dome, designed by Norman Foster during the building's renovation in the 1990s. This dome symbolizes governmental transparency and offers panoramic views of Berlin. Inside, a spiral ramp guides visitors to the top, providing unique perspectives of the city and the parliamentary activities below.
💰Average Cost: Visiting the Reichstag Building, including its famous glass dome and rooftop terrace, is free of charge. However, due to its popularity, advance registration is required. Visitors can register online or at the service center near the building.

Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom) my Notes and Thoughts 🇩🇪
#100waysoftravel
Berlin Cathedral, designed by the famous architect Julius and son at the time, was built in 1905 by the German emperor Wilhelm Il. During the bombing of World War II, the cathedral suffered heavy losses. The current building is the result of the vigourous restoration completed in 1993, but after the reconstruction, many of the original design and decoration of the church have been simplified and have not been fully restored to the glory of that year.
The original palace next to the cathedral was also destroyed in World War II. One side of the church faces the Spree River, and the other side faces the
"Happy Garden".
The building is magnificent, and every architectural detail is carefully decorated. After entering the church, there is a huge circular room, which is mainly decorated with plaster and gilded space. One of the magnificent Baroque altars comes from the previous cathedral where the church was built.
The magnificent pipe organ in the left corridor of the church was made in 1905 and consists of 7,269 tubes.
It is one of the largest pipe organs in the country.
The underground church is where many members of the royal family are placed in the sarcophagus; on the observation deck, you can enjoy the magnificent scenery of Berlin.
The original intention of building the Berlin church is to be the main religion of Protestantism.
Berlin Body World - Understand Your Own Body by
#museums #berlin #bodyworlds #awesomepic #100waysoftravel #germany
💞Reasons to Recommend:
This is a very meaningful visit during my trip to Berlin. The model display in the museum is made from real human body, with plastination technology to preserve it from decay. It's keep the display in most real and original to show you what inside your body.
Go to the museum, understand what us the real happiness and don't make your body unhappy. You can see the organ with diseases such like cancer/heart disease/Leukaemia. How is the digestive system work? What happen to your lung if you smoke daily? Be kind to your body.
The museum entrance price is not expensive and it definitely worth for a walk.
Getting There - Take metro or Tram from Berlin Central Train Station
Attractions - People Museum (the first museum of BodyWorlds)
🕰️Business Hours: 10am - 7pm daily
Berlin's subway stations are like art galleries.
When you visit Berlin, Germany, you'll find magnificent architectural designs everywhere. Besides paying attention to the buildings above ground, don't forget to check out the ones underground. Many of their subway stations are unique and resemble art galleries. Here are three must-visit subway stations in Berlin.
🚇Museumsinsel
As the only subway station on Museum Island, its design matches its name. This modern station features a deep blue ceiling, complemented by the yellow Berlin subway and small lights on the ceiling, reminiscent of a starry night sky. This is also my favorite subway station in Berlin.
🚇Wittenbergplatz
This subway station near the shopping district may seem ordinary when you first step off the train, but once you leave the station and look back, you'll be amazed. The subway station is housed within an old building, blending seamlessly with it. It's a testament to the power of combining architecture and engineering.
🚇Heidelberger Platz
This seemingly ordinary subway station is over a hundred years old. With its European-style vaulted ceilings, old chandeliers, and bright yellow subway trains, this station feels like a museum to me!
🌟 Berlin's Best Kept Secret: Hyperion Hotel 🌟
🛏️ Looking for a cozy nest in Berlin? Hyperion Hotel is your go-to! On my second visit, it was as impeccable as the first. Imagine slipping into a spotless room, complete with a fridge and coffee maker for those morning perks or late-night cravings.
🌃 Nestled in a tranquil spot, this hotel is a stone's throw from the buzz of West Berlin's center. Whether you're here for work or play, the U-Bahn station nearby means you're connected to all the hotspots without the hustle and bustle on your doorstep.
🍽️ Missed breakfast (oops!), but the bar's vibe is perfect for evening wind-downs. And if you're like me, running on empty after travels, their early check-in is a lifesaver. Plus, with supermarkets and eateries right next door, everything's at your fingertips!
🏨 Hyperion isn't just about the comfy beds and modern amenities. It's the little things – the friendly staff, the safe and quiet surroundings (even with the energy-saving dim lights), and the convenience that make it a winner.
Find your Berlin base at Prager Str. 12, 10779, Germany – it's a game-changer!

Resilience Unveiled: Reflections from the Berlin Wall
#timetotravel
Recently visited the Berlin Wall and was deeply moved by the cruel history it represents. It served as a stark reminder of the hardships endured by individuals during that time. However, what truly impressed me was the unwavering strength of the German nation. Through the reunification of East and West, they have demonstrated resilience and determination. Witnessing their progress since the fall of the wall is awe-inspiring. Germany's ability to overcome adversity and build a prosperous future is a testament to their spirit. #BerlinWall #Resilience #GermanNation #Inspiration #berlin
