If you're visiting Beijing and are tired of the hustle and bustle of massive crowds, I highly recommend escaping to the Western Qing Tombs in Baoding. Specifically, the Tailing Tomb of Emperor Yongzheng—it's incredibly stunning, majestic, and most importantly, you can take photos without the photobombers! 📸 The Vibe You'll Experience: The moment you step in, you'll be greeted by the sheer grandeur of the "Spirit Way," stretching over 2.5 kilometers. Both sides are lined with a centuries-old pine forest, giving off a profound sense of history. A must-see highlight is the Danbi Stone (Dragon Stone Ramp) right in front of the main hall's entrance, featuring breathtakingly intricate stone carvings. And when you lay eyes on the massive bronze incense burners wrapped in dragon motifs, you'll definitely feel the powerful energy of the place. 💡 Travel Tips for Thai Travelers: 1. Getting There From Beijing: · The Most Convenient Route: I recommend taking the High-Speed Train from Beijing West Railway Station to Baoding East Railway Station (which only takes 40-50 minutes). From there, grab a taxi or a Didi to the tombs (around a 1-hour ride). · For the Adventurous: Catch a bus from Liuliqiao Coach Station to Yi County (易县), then transfer to local bus line 9 or take a taxi. 2. Which Ticket Should You Buy?: • If you only have one day, getting the Through Ticket for about 108 RMB (during peak season) is your best bet. It gives you access to Tailing (the main site), Chongling (which features an underground palace), and Yongfu Temple. 3. Before You Go: · Comfortable Walking Shoes: The area is absolutely massive, so you'll be doing a lot of walking. Make sure you bring a good pair of sneakers. · Snacks and Drinks: Food is hard to come by around the tomb area, and prices can be quite steep. It's a great idea to pack some bottled water and bread in your bag. · A Little History Prep: Read up a bit on Emperor Yongzheng beforehand. It will make exploring the architecture here ten times more enjoyable! Bottom Line: If you appreciate stone carving art and true "Royal" tranquility, you absolutely have to visit this place. It outshines the Ming Tombs in Beijing when it comes to structural completeness and the overall atmosphere. Highly recommended to all my Thai friends!

The Baoding Ancient Lotus Pool remains a serene and visually striking destination, even when visited during the early spring transition of March 2026. While the famous lotus blooms are dormant during this season, the park’s architectural and historical beauty takes center stage. Highlights of a March Visit:- Architectural Clarity: Without the dense summer foliage and lotus pads, the classic Qing Dynasty pavilions, intricate stone bridges, and winding corridors are fully visible, offering clean lines for photography and videography. Tranquil Atmosphere: The park provides a peaceful environment for strolling through one of China’s most famous classical gardens. The reflective, still waters of the pool create a glass-like mirror for the surrounding traditional structures. Spring Awakening: Visitors in March can witness the subtle "first breath" of spring, with weeping willows beginning to bud and early seasonal greenery providing a soft backdrop to the ancient stone carvings and steles. Even in the absence of its namesake flowers, the Ancient Lotus Pool stands as a testament to classical garden design, making it a premier spot in Baoding for those looking to capture the quiet elegance of Chinese heritage. #chinaparks #baoding #discoverchina #hebei

A Huai Army Office, half a chapter of late Qing history. A century of wind and rain, the blue bricks remain, the red gates unchanged. Here, there are no noisy tourists, only the tranquility of blue bricks and black tiles, and the soft sound of wind passing through wooden beams. A hundred years ago, Li Hongzhang built this place to commemorate the Huai Army soldiers. Today, the painted ceiling of the opera stage is still exquisite, and the patterns on the brick carvings remain clear, as if still telling the stories of the past. Walking through the alleys, sunlight filters through the eaves, casting slowly moving shadows on the brick walls, making time seem to slow down. The opera stage is empty, yet one can imagine the scene of gongs and drums, and the bustling crowd from back then. The stillness and movement are traces of time. It is not just a building, but a piece of history, a sediment of time. When you come to Baoding, be sure to take a walk here and have a good conversation with a century of time. ✅ Must-check highlights: 1. The painted ceiling of the opera stage is legendary: The largest enclosed Qing dynasty opera stage still existing in China, the entire painted ceiling is made of thousands of wooden components joined without a single nail! Looking up is super stunning. In the past, opera performances didn’t use amplification, relying entirely on this ceiling to gather sound—detail lovers will be thrilled! 2. Fusion of Hui-style and Northern architecture: Blue bricks and black tiles, horse-head walls, intricate brick and wood carvings, flying eaves and upturned corners, and moon gates that go beyond the frame. Every alleyway you shoot has a strong story vibe. 📍 Huai Army Office Museum · Xinghua Road, Lianchi District 🎫 25 RMB 🚌 Bus: Take routes 1, 4, 7, 8, 12, 19, 27, 66, or 102 and get off at the “Baobai Building” stop, then a short walk to the destination. 🚗 Car: Navigate directly 🧭 There are parking lots nearby, but parking spaces in the city are a bit tight during holidays. Public buses and shared bikes are recommended for convenience. ⏰ Opening hours: (Peak season) March 16 – October 14 08. 30–18:00 Ticket check/entry stops at 17:30 (Off season) October 15 – March 15 of the following year 09. 00–17:00 Ticket check/entry stops at 16:30

Hello friends! I just got back from Baoding, Hebei, and I can’t wait to share this stunning hidden gem with you—Yishui Lake! This place truly deserves the title "Little Guilin of the North" with its clear waters and green mountains, winding boardwalks, and best of all, fewer crowds and beautiful scenery. It’s perfect for a spontaneous weekend getaway. I’ve put together this super detailed guide to make sure you can head out right after reading! Basic Information at a Glance Location: Ange Village, Yixian County, Baoding City, Hebei Province; about 150 km from Beijing, 200 km from Tianjin, and 100 km from Xiong’an New Area. Scenic Area Rating: National 4A-level tourist attraction, National Water Conservancy Scenic Area. Core Highlights: 27 square kilometers of high mountain plateau lake, 3,100-meter cliffside boardwalk along the water, a perfect blend of karst landforms and lake-mountain scenery. Recommended Visit Duration: About 4-6 hours for the core scenic area; 1-2 days if including surrounding areas. Best Season: April to October is the best time to visit. Spring brings blooming wildflowers, summer is cool and refreshing (average 26-28°C), autumn offers colorful foliage, and winter’s frozen lake has its own charm. 🚗 Transportation Guide (What’s the easiest way to get there?) Self-driving (Highly recommended!): From Beijing: Take the Jinggang’ao Expressway (G4) then switch to the Lailai Expressway, navigate to “Yishui Lake Jingu Pier” or “Yishui Lake Scenic Area,” about 2-2.5 hours drive. Parking: The scenic area parking lot charges about 10 RMB/day. Reservation: It’s recommended to book tickets at least one day in advance via the official “Yishui Lake Tourism Resort” WeChat or other platforms to avoid queues during peak season. 🌟 Must-See Attractions & Experiences (All the highlights here!) Boat Tour on the Lake (A soul-stirring experience!): The only way to enter the scenic area is by boat! There are three piers: Jinpo Pier (large scale), Jingu Pier (fewer people, beautiful scenery), and Dam Pier. I recommend boarding at Jingu Pier; the boat ride takes about 20 minutes. The lake surface is like a mirror reflecting the reddish mountain rocks—truly like traveling inside a painting. Choose a window seat for the best photos! Hiking the Laozi Peak Boardwalk (Core highlight): After disembarking, you enter the Laozi Peak area. Be sure to complete the 3,100-meter cliffside boardwalk along the water. It winds along vertical cliffs with a new view at every step and no turning back. Moderate difficulty; even elderly and children can complete it at a slow pace. Zhixu Platform: The best viewing spot! Standing on this cliffside observation deck, you get a 360-degree panoramic view of Yishui Lake, with stunning lake and mountain scenery all around—perfect for photos. Tianmen Cloud Ladder: The steepest section of the boardwalk with 156 steps. It’s a bit tiring to climb, but the view from the top is breathtaking, offering a magnificent “water and sky as one” feeling. Gushen Cave: A natural karst cave framed by the entrance, with green water and mountains outside as the most beautiful backdrop, creating a great sense of depth in photos. Cultural Landmark Check-in: Inside the scenic area is the “Yishui Farewell Platform,” said to be where Jing Ke set off to assassinate the Qin king. You can rent a Hanfu costume (about 50 RMB/set) to capture the tragic and heroic atmosphere of “The wind is bleak and the Yishui cold.” 🍜 Food Recommendations (Lake fish is king!) Coming to Yishui Lake and not eating lake fish is a missed opportunity! I recommend dining at nearby farmhouse restaurants for authentic flavors and reasonable prices. Must-try lake delicacies: Yishui Lake Stewed Fish / Iron Pot Stewed Fish: Fresh fish caught from the lake, slow-cooked over firewood, tender fish meat, rich broth, served with flatbread. Around 50 RMB per person will fill you up. Fish Head with Pancakes: Large fish head stewed to perfection, dip the pancakes in the fish soup—absolutely delicious. Fried River Shrimp / Small Whitebait: Crispy and crunchy, perfect as a snack with drinks. Local Snacks: Yixian Fried Cake & Sesame Sauce Pancakes: Local specialties, crispy and sweet. Wild Vegetable Dumplings: Made with cornmeal wrapping purslane and other wild vegetables, healthy whole grains. Recommended Restaurants: Near the scenic area: Fisherman Inn Tanyu Restaurant (famous for stewed mixed fish and fried river shrimp), Xianglian Restaurant (flavorful stewed fish), Juheyuan Fish Hotpot. Yixian County Town: Anjia Zhaobing (local famous dish, beef-stuffed pancake with generous portions). 🏡 Accommodation Suggestions (Where to stay for convenience?) Farmhouses/B&Bs near the scenic area (Recommended!): Great value, right by the lake, some include three meals. Yongshui Inn: 2-minute walk to Taihang Water Town, about 99 RMB/person/day including meals and lodging. Yuge B&B: Close to Yishui Lake pier, 2-minute walk, about 150 RMB/person/day including meals and lodging. Xinguo Farmhouse / Fangfang Farmhouse: Near the pier, 100-150 RMB/night per person, offers fishing experiences. High-end Lake View Hotels: For quality seekers, choose Yishui Lake Resort Hotel or the Wellness Island Hotel in the lake center, with lake views from the window and complete facilities, priced around 600-800 RMB/night. County Town Budget Hotels: Such as Home Inn Neo (Yandu Ancient City branch), about 179 RMB/night, more convenient for dining and shopping. 🗺️ Classic Itinerary Suggestions One-Day Highlights Tour (Day trip from Beijing/Tianjin): Morning: Depart early, arrive at Jingu Pier before 9 AM to avoid crowds. Take the boat tour and enjoy the picturesque scenery. Noon: After disembarking, hike the Laozi Peak boardwalk, check in at Zhixu Platform, Tianmen Cloud Ladder, and Gushen Cave, about 2-3 hours total. Afternoon: Take the boat back, have lunch at a farmhouse near the pier (must try the stewed fish). Afterward, drive to Lianxiang Taihang Water Town (about 15 minutes), stroll, eat, experience folk customs, and enjoy the night light show. Evening: End the trip and return. Two-Day Leisure Tour (In-depth experience): Day 1: Arrive in the morning, explore the core Yishui Lake scenic area (boat + Laozi Peak). Check into a lakeside B&B in the afternoon to rest and relax. In the evening, head to Taihang Water Town for dinner and night views. Day 2: In the morning, try water activities like kayaking (about 150 RMB/hour), or visit Qingxi Mausoleum (about 30 minutes by car) to experience the grandeur of the royal tombs. Return in the afternoon. 💎 Super Practical Tips & Pitfall Warnings Choose the right pier: Jingu Pier has fewer people and better scenery; Jinpo Pier is larger but may have queues; Dam Pier has fewer people but only departs when full. Check which pier is open in advance. Manage your time: The last boat usually leaves between 4-5 PM. Confirm the time carefully; missing it might mean a long walk back to the pier! Laozi Peak boardwalk may close around 4 PM, so plan accordingly. Clothing & Gear: Wear non-slip, comfortable shoes! Some boardwalk sections are steep and mossy. Mountain areas have big temperature differences, bring a jacket even on sunny days. Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are essential. Best photo times: Before 10 AM, the lake often has light mist, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere; at sunset, Zhixu Platform offers golden “orange sea” views. Pitfall reminders: Don’t trust so-called “fast lanes” or “ticket evasion routes.” The scenic area strictly forbids climbing wild mountains due to safety risks. Be cautious buying “wild dried fish” from roadside vendors; many are farmed. Signal may be unstable in the mountains; carry some cash just in case. The beauty of Yishui Lake lies in its perfect blend of southern elegance and northern grandeur. Spend a weekend here boating, hiking, eating fish, and relaxing—it truly heals all fatigue. This guide is based on my personal experience, and I hope it helps you! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me anytime~

Yesterday, Baoding had its first snowfall of the winter. Driving past Zhuozheng International Hotel at night, I saw the hot spring lights shining warmly in the snowy night. I decisively took the kids inside to "escape the cold." Unexpectedly, with just a 99 yuan ticket, we not only soaked in the hot springs♨️ and enjoyed the steam sauna, but also got a free warm late-night snack🥗! This cost performance is definitely top-notch in Baoding. 🏃‍♂️ Route Plan: Snowy Night Wellness Trilogy Route: Hot Spring Soak (wash away the cold) → Steam Sauna (expel dampness) → Late-Night Snack (replenish energy) 1️⃣ Hot Spring Area (wash away the cold) ✅ Soaking in hot springs on snowy days is the most comfortable; the water temperature perfectly drives away the chill. The pools are very clean, and the floors have anti-slip treatment, so no worries about slipping with kids. ✅ Photo Spot: The lounge chairs beside the pool, where you can see the snow falling outside through the floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a full cozy atmosphere. 2️⃣ Steam Sauna Area (expel dampness) ✅ After soaking, head straight to the second-floor steam sauna. The Mongolian yurt steam room is recommended; the temperature is moderate and not too stuffy. Lying inside and sweating it out makes you feel completely refreshed. ✅ Photo Spot: The lazy sofa area at the steam room entrance, with soft lighting, perfect for warm parent-child photos. 3️⃣ Late-Night Snack Area (replenish energy) ✅ Surprisingly, there are free late-night snacks after 10 PM! Simple fried rice and hot soup, but the warmth makes all the difference. Eating a bowl on a snowy night brings overwhelming happiness. ✅ Photo Spot: The window seats in the restaurant, with snowy views outside and steaming delicious food inside—every snap is a healing scene. 🤗 Tips to Avoid Pitfalls 🚕 Parking: The hotel has a free parking lot ⏱️ Time: Late-night snacks are served from 22:00 to 24:00, don’t come too early or too late. ♨️ With Kids: The children's playground is on the third floor; after the steam sauna, you can take the kids there to burn off energy. Soaking in hot springs on a snowy night♨️ lets you enjoy the snow scenery and nourish your health, and the price is so affordable. If you’re in Baoding, this warm snowy day trip is definitely worth it!

New discovery for summer fun with kids! Baishi Mountain in Hebei, known as the "Northern Zhangjiajie," stays only 19℃ in summer! Plus super cool cliff via ferrata climbing and canyon giant swing! 🌲 📍 Location: Baoding, Hebei · Baishi Mountain, 1.5 hours by high-speed train directly from Beijing. ✅ Must-see wonders for kids: Buddha Light Peak sea of clouds, the rock that looks like Bajie getting married, glass plank road. 🚗 Transportation guide (stress-free with kids): High-speed train + taxi: Beijing West → Baoding East (1 hour), then taxi to the scenic area (about 150 RMB, carpooling is more cost-effective). Lazy choice: Join a "Baishi Mountain one-day tour" departing from Baoding or Shijiazhuang directly to avoid transportation hassle. ⛰️ Three family-friendly routes, choose based on kids' stamina: 🔥 Adventure challenge line (for older kids/dads with kids): Cable car up from East Gate → play advanced via ferrata (vertical ladder is super thrilling) → photo at Mountain Alliance Terrace → challenge giant swing (canyon swing) → climb Buddha Light Peak to see sea of clouds → cable car down. (about 5 hours) 💚 Zen sightseeing line (suitable for most families): Bus up from East Gate → Chive Garden → walk cliff plank road (rest at cliff café midway) → see Bajie getting married rock → Shuangxiong Rock glass plank road → cable car down. (about 3-4 hours) 🌿 Easy leisure line for toddlers (mainly relaxing): Cable car up from East Gate → electric cart at Chive Garden → photo check-in at Leizhenzi Wings → feed little squirrels at 1600m line 🐿️ → take Feiyunkou cable car down. (about 2.5 hours) 🍽️ Food & accommodation tips: Stay on the mountain: Shangyun Jian Hotel, window views of sea of clouds, but pricier. Stay at the foot of the mountain: Recommended "Baishi Mountain She" homestay in Laiyuan County, great value, spicy stir-fried mountain mushrooms are delicious! Eating on the mountain: Knife-cut noodles at Shuangxiong Rock Snack City are good, latte at cliff café is paying for the view~ ⚠️ Tips to avoid pitfalls with kids: To see sunrise and sea of clouds, you must stay on the mountain because the bus only departs at 9 am. It’s windy and cold on the peak, even in July bring a thin down jacket for kids! Gloves are a must for via ferrata, secure your phone with a lanyard! If driving yourself, mountain roads have many curves, new drivers be cautious. Don’t know where to take kids in summer? Baishi Mountain is definitely a surprising choice! Cool, fun, stunning scenery, add it to your list! 💖

When it comes to Shijiazhuang, many people’s first reaction might be, “Huh? That city built by the train?” But actually, it’s a seriously underrated treasure city, hiding plenty of “hardcore” gems! Don’t just treat it as a transit stop—spend two or three days here, and it will definitely surprise you. I’ve put together a relaxed yet fulfilling 3-day itinerary for you. Let’s set off! Day 1: Journey through the charm of an ancient city Wake up naturally, have breakfast, and head straight to today’s highlight—the Zhengding Ancient City. This place is remarkable, known as a “treasure trove of ancient architecture,” and it’s only about a half-hour drive from downtown Shijiazhuang. · Morning: The awe of Longxing Temple The first must-visit in the ancient city is Longxing Temple. Don’t underestimate it; it was praised by Mr. Liang Sicheng as “the foremost famous temple outside Beijing.” It houses six “national records,” the most stunning being the 21.3-meter-tall statue of the Thousand-Armed and Thousand-Eyed Guanyin. Standing at her feet and looking up, the solemnity and exquisite detail will truly take your breath away. Inside the Mani Hall, the colorful statue of the Guanyin sitting backward, with a serene and free expression, is known as the “Goddess of the East” and is a must-see. · Afternoon: Climb the ancient city wall and check in at the Four Pagodas After leaving Longxing Temple, you can stroll around the ancient city to soak in the slow pace of life. Then be sure to walk on the ancient city wall! It’s best to go up in the late afternoon when the sunset bathes the city. The silhouettes of the four ancient pagodas (Lingxiao Pagoda, Hua Pagoda, Xumi Pagoda, and Chengling Pagoda) stand out clearly in the distance, creating a special atmosphere. Every photo you take will look like a masterpiece. The city wall has no entrance fee, which is very generous! · Evening: Night view of the South City Gate and local cuisine When it gets dark, the lights of the ancient city come on, presenting a different scene, especially the South City Gate, which is particularly magnificent. Have dinner inside the ancient city and try Zhengding’s specialties like hot meatballs and heluo noodles. The flavors are simple yet authentic, guaranteed to satisfy you. Day 2: Following the footsteps of history · Morning: Childhood memories at Zhaozhou Bridge “Zhaozhou Bridge was built by Lu Ban, with jade and stone railings left by the sage…” Sounds familiar, right? Today we’ll go see the Zhaozhou Bridge from your textbooks. It’s located in Zhaoxian County under Shijiazhuang’s jurisdiction, about an hour’s drive from the city. Standing on the bridge and touching the massive stone arch that has withstood over 1,400 years of weather, you’ll sincerely admire the wisdom of ancient craftsmen. The bridge itself may not be as grand as you imagine, but its historical status and scientific value are irreplaceable. · Afternoon: A moment of tranquility at Bailin Zen Temple After visiting Zhaozhou Bridge, a short walk will bring you to Bailin Zen Temple. This is a millennium-old temple with bustling incense offerings but a very pleasant atmosphere—quiet and serene. Walking inside, listening to the wind chimes and chanting, can instantly calm a restless heart. You don’t need to burn incense or pray; simply experiencing the Zen vibe is very comforting. · Evening: Back to the city for food and fun Return to Shijiazhuang city center. For dinner, you can explore Zhuangli Street or the White Night Market area, where various foods gather. Since you’re in Hebei, you must try a bowl of authentic Anhui beef banmian! Yes, this is indeed a specialty in Shijiazhuang. The noodles are chewy, the broth rich, paired with marinated eggs and tofu skin—absolutely delicious! Day 3: Red memories and city strolls · Morning: The birthplace of New China—Xibaipo If you’re interested in modern history, Xibaipo is a must-visit. It’s the place “where New China started,” where the Central Committee of the Communist Party directed the three major campaigns that shocked the world. Visit the former site of the Central Committee and the memorial hall. Seeing those simple earthen houses and precious relics will give you a deeper understanding of that magnificent history. It’s a bit far from the city, so reserve most of the day and plan your transportation in advance. · Afternoon: The treasures of Hebei Museum If you don’t go to Xibaipo or still have time after returning, I highly recommend the Hebei Museum. It’s a national first-class museum with countless treasures! Especially the “Great Han Masterpiece—Mancheng Han Tomb” exhibition, where the world-famous gold-threaded jade burial suit and the authentic Changxin Palace lantern are displayed. Seeing them in person lets you truly appreciate the ultimate luxury and craftsmanship—definitely worth the visit (oh, and the museum is free but requires advance reservation). Travel Tips: · Accommodation: It’s recommended to stay near Shijiazhuang Station or the museum for convenient transportation. · Transportation: You can reach city attractions by subway and bus. For Zhengding and Zhaoxian, high-speed trains or buses are very convenient. Taxis are also affordable. · Food: Besides the mentioned dishes, try the clay oven sesame seed cakes and Gaocheng palace noodles—both are local specialties. Shijiazhuang boasts profound historical heritage, red revolutionary memories, and irresistible local cuisine. Don’t hesitate—pick a weekend and come explore the charm of this “International Village” yourself! Have a great trip!

When I went to Baoding to visit my friends, I found out that the best anorectal hospital in China is not in Chengdu, but in Baoding, because it can protect the buttocks! Back to the topic, this city that I had never actively wanted to visit before also has its own heritage and many small and beautiful spots, which is very suitable for citywalk! · 1️⃣ West Street Baoding West Street was formed after Baoding was rebuilt in the Yuan Dynasty. It has the overall style characteristics of the Ming, Qing and Republic of China periods, combining Chinese and Western styles. [Zhili Post Office] [Florence Coffee] is very good at producing coffee. · 2️⃣ Zhili Governor's Office Learn about the culture and historical stories of the Qing Dynasty government offices. 1-9 official refrigerator magnets are very beautiful! · 3️⃣ Daci Pavilion The majestic and magnificent ancient building is magnificent. The temple is filled with the lingering Buddhist sounds and a sacred atmosphere, and is one of the landmark buildings in Baoding. 👉You can visit the [Baoding Catholic Church] next to it, and there is also the [Bell Tower Bread], you have to queue up one hour in advance. · 4️⃣ Huaijun Office The overall architectural style is compatible with both north and south. The reception courtyard, theater (Tindar plays when the sun is good), Xiantang, and Zhaozhong Temple are in the Hui style, and the northern courtyard is in the form of a northern quadrangle. · 5️⃣Baoding Museum It’s a pity that the museum’s treasure, the bronze horse 🐴, was taken away by the Shijiazhuang Museum, and only a replica remains. [Baoding Art Museum] [Guan Hanqing Grand Theater] is right next to it! · 6️⃣China Paleozoological Museum First of all, the architecture is very outstanding, a masterpiece by a master. Then there is the largest paleontological museum with numerous fossils. The dinosaur fossil exhibition area is extremely shocking. · 7️⃣Baoding City Exhibition Center The technology exhibition hall perfectly integrates sound, light and electricity, and there is a free "flying over the horizon" experience. · 8️⃣Lianchi Academy One of the eight scenic spots in Baoding Ancient City, Emperor Kangxi once carved a stone with the inscription "Dragon Flying" in his handwriting. Don't miss it if you like the history of ancient buildings and gardens. · 9️⃣ Qingxiling The grand royal mausoleum complex is magnificent. · In general, Baoding is a very surprising city. I hope you can spend 2-3 days to visit this city that even the donkeys don't want to leave.

😎 I traveled 300 km just for this room! I have always wanted to stay in a room with a bamboo forest outside the window. This time, I finally found a good place in the province, so I don't have to travel far. 😜 When I woke up in the morning, I lay in bed 🛏️ and didn't want to get up! I just watched the bamboo swaying in the wind outside the window, the bamboo leaves falling one by one, and occasionally a bird or butterfly flying by. It was so pleasant! 😍 When I walked out of the room, wow! The fragrance of osmanthus flowers filled the air 🌼, and the rustling of the wind blowing through the bamboo leaves 🎋 and the sound of flowing water were like a symphony of nature, refreshing and pleasant. I felt healed. 🤗 🎈 The service here is also great! Although it is a homestay, the service is not sloppy at all. The butler contacted me in advance via WeChat and created an exclusive service group. When I checked in, there were welcome fruits and refreshing tea 🍵, and they helped me with my luggage 🧳. It was so thoughtful! 🛏️ The room was so clean that I felt super comfortable walking barefoot on the floor! The food, drinks, and supplies in the room were of good quality. 👍 🤔 When it was almost time to check out, we were still hesitating whether to stay another night. It was so comfortable! 🍲 For dinner, you can order the homestay's special hot pot, which is delicious! Breakfast is included in the room rate, and there are two options: abalone porridge and wontons, both of which are super delicious 😋. For lunch, we went to Zhengguo Old Street, which is not far from the homestay, and it was very lively! 🤩 There are several amusement forest scenic spots and cultural villages nearby, but it was inconvenient for us to visit with a baby, so we just came to enjoy this bamboo forest homestay and didn't visit other places. 😏 🎊 The homestay also has a swimming pool and hot spring pool, and several rooms have children's swimming lanes. There is also a tea room, yoga room, and meeting room, and there are various room types. It really has everything! 😎 After visiting, many friends asked me where this was, and they were all attracted by the beautiful pictures of the homestay I posted! 🤳 In short, this is really a good place to consider staying again! 🤗💕 📍 Homestay: Baoding Four Seasons Bamboo Forest Academy

#The Business Suite We selected a Business Suite, at the "Zhongyin Hotel", also know as the "Jasper Hotel" in Baoding. The front of house added me to her Wechat, when we checked in. We were out for most of the day, as we had meetings to attend. We returned later that evening, and the front of house night staff, were courteous enough, to show us to our suite. "The room was preheated, and nice & warm, upon our arrival". This suite, was extremly spacious and elegant, and we both sincerely enjoyed it. Living Room: A lovely living room, with a comfortable sofa and ample space. Bedroom: The bed was comfortable, with high quality bedding. Bathroom: As for the bathroom, well it's very spacious with a walk in shower and a large bathtub. We enjoyed panoramic views of the city, from the suite. Buffet style breakfast was served, at the Horizon Restaurant on the 3rd floor. "The selection was good, with both Chinese and Western Style dishes to enjoy". Overall the hotel has a classic and elegant feel to it, with quality finishes, which remain timeless. The entire team of staff, ensured that we enjoyed our stay. Special thanks to the front office's, YangQian for her superb service. As well as the front office manager (Cindy), for her superb service, and for meeting our requests. We can recommend this hotel for business or leisure, foreign or domestic guests, will enjoy a high quality stay here. Upon our next visit to Baoding, we will surely return to the Zhongyin Hotel.

These are my few remaining pictures of my time spent in Baoding. There are so many friendly people in this area. Food is great.

Baoding city in Hebei province, it is an industrial city with good structure for visitors

Baoding Botanical Garden is worth a trip if you need a break from the bustling city, and a breath of fresh air. It is a huge green space, a haven amidst the skyscrapers, with statues, lakes and even a small fair park to enjoy. Lots of places to sit and eat a picnic, and escape that summer sunshine in the shade of the forests. Visit in spring for the first blooms, in summer to escape the heat, and autumn for the changing leaves. A beautiful place! #triplocal

📌Yishui Lake 📌 From the ticket gate to the location we have to board the ship for approximately 10 minutes. Entrance and shipping fees are 120 RMB. At the location we are presented with a natural view of the lake surrounded by hills. The path used to climb hills is strong and comfortable, especially the climbing process that is not too difficult, suitable for young children and old people. Be careful with your items, especially sunglasses and hats. Because of the wind or accidentally falling, do not expect to be taken back. You are not allowed to climb the road fence or go down the hillside. #givethanks

The Paleozoological Museum of China (Baoding Natural History Museum) is the largest natural history museum in Asia. It was designed by Pritzker Prize winner Wang Shu and has a total floor area of about 73,000 square meters. The building's exterior is highly recognizable. Based on the concept of "layered city structures and endless green fields," it features 7 city walls spread out on the ground, with 6 irregular exhibition halls stacked on top, symbolizing ancient tectonic plate movements. The exterior walls are hand-chiseled from Taihang Mountain stone, giving them a rugged, weathered look, as if an ancient stone city has grown out of the North China Plain. The Dinosaur Empire exhibition hall is the most stunning, with an incredibly spacious layout. A Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum skeleton, about 35 meters long, stretches out its body. It is the dinosaur with the longest neck in the world. The museum's crown jewel is the skeleton of the Sinraptor dongi. This is the only Sinraptor fossil skeleton in the world, measuring about 7.6 meters long and nearly 3 meters high, and it is remarkably well-preserved. The Tyrannosaurus rex is also a showstopper and a treasure of the museum. There are also countless other dinosaur skeletons and fossils filling an entire hall, which will definitely satisfy your curiosity about dinosaurs! Another treasure of the museum is the Steppe Mammoth fossil skeleton, displayed in the "Rise of mammals" exhibition hall. It recreates the grandeur of the Ice Age giant and serves as an important specimen witnessing the evolution of life. The Mineral Hall (Earth pulse exhibition hall) is equally impressive, displaying colorful and diverse mineral and meteorite specimens. Clear crystals and vibrant fluorite shimmer under the lights, quietly telling the story of Earth's 4.6 billion years of geological changes. The "Tragedy of extinction" exhibition hall uses images of over 60 extinct species and shocking animal products to intuitively reveal the damage human activities have caused to the ecosystem, serving as a warning that protecting biodiversity is a long and arduous task. In short, if you come to Baoding, the Paleozoological Museum of China is definitely worth a visit!
