Altay's appeal is so strong that after 5 visits, I still yearn for more!

After watching the TV series 'My Altay', my heart raced back to Altay. The allure of Altay is indeed overwhelming; despite having been there four times, I can't stop thinking about it. Thus, I embarked on my fifth self-driving tour to Altay. Based on my five trips there, I've compiled a self-driving itinerary for those interested. 🚗 Itinerary Day1: Urumqi/Altay - Ulungur Lake - Burqin. - Ulungur Lake: A sea in the Gobi, the water is exceptionally blue on sunny days. - Burqin: A fairy-tale border town, featuring Russian-style streets and the popular 'Kanas Bridge'. Day2: Burqin - Hemu. - Stroll around Hemu Village, visit Hemu Bridge, Aid Xinjiang Bridge, and the birch forest. - Watch the sunset and enjoy a bonfire party at the Sunset Platform, and gaze at the stars and Milky Way at night. - Head to the Harden Platform in the morning to see the sunrise and morning mist. Day3: Hemu - Kanas. - Take a boat ride or raft on Kanas Lake. - Visit Fairy Bay to see the morning mist, and explore Moon Bay and Dragon Bay. Day4: Kanas - Return trip. 📝 Notes Tickets for Hemu and Kanas should be booked in advance. It's advisable to rent a car early for better deals. Tencent Maps can be used to customize self-driving routes for convenient trip planning. There's a significant temperature difference between day and night, so bring a thick coat; the UV rays are strong during the day, so be prepared for sun protection.
