This is the Yangshimu Scenic Area, a branch of Wugong Mountain, located in Ji'an, Jiangxi. It only takes 3.5 hours to drive from Changsha! We arrived at 10 AM on October 2nd during National Day, and there was no queue for the cable car! The scenery is stunning! 🎈Location: Navigate to "Yangshimu Scenic Area" or "Anfu Wugong Mountain Visitor Center." These two scenic spots are together, so you can plan to visit both in two days! Anfu Wugong Mountain is another main entrance to Wugong Mountain and leads to the Golden Summit! Nearby is Mingyue Mountain, which you can also visit if you have more time! 🎈Accommodation: "Rongyuan Hot Spring Hotel." After hiking, soaking in the hot spring at night is incredibly relaxing! The hot spring hotel is just a few hundred meters from the Anfu Wugong Mountain Visitor Center. There are many farmhouse restaurants right at the hotel entrance, very convenient. There are also many guesthouses nearby, about a hundred yuan per night, all newly built~ 🎈Travel Tips: 1⃣️Yangshimu ticket is 100 RMB, round-trip cable car 150 RMB, round-trip sightseeing bus 20 RMB. These are must-buys and save you from walking 99% of the mountain paths. You only need to walk on the sightseeing plank road, which is very easy! Elderly and children can easily finish the walk~ 2⃣️Downhill slide 30 RMB, optional. It only takes a few minutes to walk down. If you like sliding, you can try it~ 3⃣️Small train round-trip 100 RMB, do not buy it! The path to Mingyue Mountain is also a plank road, but the scenery is not as good as Yangshimu. Visiting both scenic spots in one day is not enough time. The small train route has little scenery, purely a waste of money 💰 and time. 4⃣️Hot springs: A must! If you don’t stay at the hotel, the price is 138 RMB per person. Buying at the hotel front desk is 182 RMB for two people. There are many pools, and the big round pool in the middle is beautiful!! There is also a wave pool, with waves starting around 8 PM, very fun! It’s recommended to ask the staff about the timing so you don’t miss it!
