Anji Noknok B&B | A Simple Stay Experience 🌿 It took a bit of driving around in the mountains of Anji to finally reach Noknok. The B&B's exterior is quite understated, not a flashy design. What truly impressed me was the public area, especially two spots: 🌿Mountain View Floor-to-Ceiling Window Afternoon Tea: This is absolutely where I felt I got the most value. That glass window is truly massive, almost an entire wall, facing the continuous mountain scenery [Scenic]. We booked afternoon tea and sat by the window. The snacks and tea were decent, standard quality, not particularly amazing. But the key was the environment – outside the window were lush green mountains [Scenic]. Sitting there, drinking tea and gazing at the mountains, my mood naturally calmed down. No need to do anything specific, just staring blankly at the mountains – that kind of relaxation is rare. I highly recommend booking a window seat in advance; the experience is completely different. [Scenic]Waterfall Relaxation Area: This area is very thoughtfully designed. It's located below the public area, with several wooden platforms to sit on as you go down the stairs. Next to it is a small artificial waterfall (or perhaps diverted from a mountain stream? I'm not sure) flowing down the hillside. The water flow isn't strong, but the sound of it dripping down in layers is incredibly clear – that gentle patter, a very natural white noise. Sitting there, listening to the water, feeling the coolness of the mountains, you naturally relax. No need to talk or think; just clear your mind. 🏠About the room: Our room was decent and standard, with clean and sufficient facilities. The decor was a common minimalist style, and we could also see greenery outside the window. But honestly, compared to the scenery and atmosphere of the public areas, the room itself wasn't particularly memorable (perhaps because we chose a basic room type?). It was comfortable to stay in, but the highlights were definitely not in the room. ✨Small tips: 1/ Be sure to book a window seat for afternoon tea in advance, or arrive early. 2/ Bring a light book or just sit there and scroll through your phone – either way is very comfortable. 3/ Room type selection depends on your budget. If a room with a view is too expensive, a basic room is sufficient; just allocate more time to the public areas. 4/ Don't forget to sit and relax in the waterfall relaxation area.
