This mountain wild homestay in Anji is perfect for relaxing! The hot spring pool is a stunning hidden gem

When I wanted to find a quiet place to unwind in Anji, I chose AN Zhuli. This mountain wild homestay truly exceeded my expectations! It’s located in Shenxi Village, Baofu Town, Anji, about a 40-minute drive from Anji city center and roughly an hour and a half from Hangzhou. The route is full of mountain roads and bamboo forests, with incredibly fresh air. If you drive, the homestay offers free parking, which is very convenient. Taxi drivers can also find the place easily and drop you right at the door. The moment you enter the homestay, you feel the great environment! Surrounded by mountains and bamboo, the courtyard is neat and clean, with a lawn, a small pavilion, and an outdoor swimming pool with crystal-clear water. The overall vibe is very natural, without the noise of the city—only birdsong and the sound of the wind. Just sitting and resting here is so stress-relieving. We booked a duplex room, and the space is really huge! The first floor has a living room and bathroom, and the second floor is the bedroom. The staircase is designed with great texture and feels sturdy. The room is furnished with solid wood furniture and warm yellow lighting, creating a cozy atmosphere. The facilities are very complete—the bedding is soft and comfortable, making for a great sleep. The bathroom has a dry and wet separation, toiletries have a light fragrance, and there’s a smart toilet, high-speed WiFi, and a large-screen TV. The biggest surprise is the small terrace attached to the room—open the window and you see endless green bamboo forests. Having afternoon tea and feeling the mountain breeze is incredibly pleasant~ You must check out the outdoor swimming pool and hot spring pools! The pool is hidden in the bamboo forest, with clear water perfect for cooling off in summer. Surrounded by greenery, it’s a fantastic spot for photos. There are several hot spring pools scattered around the courtyard, all heated with natural mountain spring water at just the right temperature. Soaking in the warm spring water while gazing at the bamboo and distant mountains melts away all fatigue. At night, you can soak while stargazing—utterly romantic to the core~ The dining and entertainment experiences are also top-notch! Breakfast is homemade by the homestay, including porridge, steamed buns, eggs, freshly cooked noodles, local fresh vegetables, and handmade mantou—warm and satisfying. For main meals, you can book in advance and enjoy Anji specialties like bamboo forest chicken, stir-fried bamboo shoots with pork, and reservoir fish—all made with fresh local ingredients, authentic and homestyle flavors. For entertainment, there’s a tea room, a book bar where you can enjoy tea and reading in the afternoon, and board games to play with friends for a great time~ Transportation is very convenient. Besides driving yourself, the homestay can help call a car. For nearby attractions, it’s a 10-minute drive to Shenxi Canyon for rafting, which is super thrilling in summer; 20 minutes to Anji Bamboo Expo Park to see vast bamboo forests and try bamboo shoot digging; 30 minutes to Yunshang Grassland, where thrill-seekers can try grass sledding and the glass skywalk. You can also visit nearby waterfalls to experience nature’s wonders—there are so many ways to have fun~ This stay was truly satisfying—the environment is beautiful, facilities complete, and service attentive. It’s perfect for couples on vacation, friends traveling together, or family trips.
