If you want to see the continuous Alps, then I recommend visiting Mount Rigi, known as the 'Queen of the Mountains.' It also has Switzerland's first mountain cogwheel train, and its altitude is above Mount Pilatus but below Mount Titlis! There are two ways to go up the mountain. For independent travelers, I recommend taking the train directly up and down, because it's very convenient to take a boat from Lucerne to Vitznau, then get off the boat and directly board the train. The only inconvenience is that it's advisable to book train tickets in advance and manage your time well! Because if the train is full, you won't be able to go up!
