Bangkok - The City That Never Sleeps in Asia
Bangkok, a city full of vitality and color, attracts tourists from all over the world with its unique culture, cuisine, and warm-hearted people. This trip has always been my dream, and when I set foot on this land, my heart was filled with anticipation and excitement. In this travelogue, I will share my journey in Bangkok, including every detail I experienced.
My journey began with an early morning flight, and the plane landed at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in the bright morning sunlight. As soon as I got off the plane, I felt the warmth of Bangkok. The airport's design is modern and spacious, and the immigration procedures were quite swift. After collecting my luggage, I took the airport express to the hotel I had booked.
I chose a hotel located in the city center, making it convenient for me to explore the city. The hotel staff were very friendly and provided me with local travel suggestions and maps, which made me look forward to the upcoming itinerary.
After dropping off my luggage, I couldn't wait to taste the local cuisine. I found a small food stall on a nearby street and ordered Pad Thai and Tom Yum Goong soup. The Pad Thai was delicious, with fresh shrimp and peanuts, making me an instant fan. The sour and spicy taste of Tom Yum Goong soup made me appreciate the unique charm of Thai cuisine.
The next morning, I decided to visit one of Bangkok's most famous attractions - the Grand Palace. The architectural style here is magnificent, and the golden temples and palaces left me in awe. Walking into the Grand Palace felt like traveling back to the prosperous era of ancient Thailand. The Emerald Buddha in Wat Phra Kaew, in particular, was serene and sacred, filling me with reverence.
Next, I went to the Chao Phraya River and took a long-tail boat to tour the river. As the boat glided over the water, I could see the life scenes on both sides, from ancient temples to modern skyscrapers, forming a strong contrast. After getting off the boat, I rested in a riverside park, enjoying the breeze and feeling at peace.
On the third day, I decided to explore Bangkok's famous floating market. Early in the morning, I took public transportation to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. The small boats here were filled with various goods, from fresh fruits to handicrafts, dazzling my eyes. I bought some local tropical fruits, and their sweet taste intoxicated me.
After returning to the city center, I went to the famous shopping mall - Siam Paragon. Here, not only are there exclusive stores of international brands, but also many unique Thai products. I specifically chose some handicrafts as souvenirs and tasted more Thai delicacies in the mall's food court.
In the evening, I went to the famous Chatuchak Night Market. This place is a hotspot for locals and tourists, with dazzling lights, various food stalls, and handicraft stalls. I tasted Thai spring rolls and coconut rice, and the flavors were amazing.
After the night market, my friends and I went to a famous bar to enjoy the night view of Bangkok. The bar is located on the top floor of a high-rise building, overlooking the city's lights, making me feel the prosperity and charm of Bangkok.
On the fifth day of the trip, I decided to relax and experience an authentic Thai massage. I chose a local massage shop, and the professional masseur made me feel comfortable, releasing the tension in my muscles.
In the afternoon, I visited a traditional weaving village to learn about the local handicraft culture. The villagers enthusiastically introduced their skills and demonstrated how to weave fabrics using traditional methods. This experience gave me a deeper understanding of Thai culture.
On the last day in Bangkok, I decided to visit some attractions I hadn't been to yet. I went to Wat Pho, where the Reclining Buddha has a golden appearance that left a deep impression on me. Then, I visited Wat Arun, and its unique architectural style amazed me.
After a wonderful trip, I prepared to return home with many memories and souvenirs. On the plane, I recalled the moments of the past few days, feeling grateful. Every corner of Bangkok, every kind of food, and every friendly local made me feel the unique charm of this city.
This trip to Bangkok not only allowed me to taste delicious food and enjoy beautiful scenery but also gave me an in-depth understanding of Thai culture and people. I look forward to returning to this vibrant city in the future to explore more unknown corners. Thank you, Bangkok!

Flow Onsen, a Japanese-style private onsen 💦
A private atmosphere, super relaxing
Whether traveling or working, the body needs relaxation like soaking in an onsen. But because we are a bit shy with other people, we choose to find a private soak. So we came across "Flow Onsen", a luxurious onsen at Le Méridien Bangkok Hotel.
The onsen here is full of minerals imported directly from Japan, which are specially selected according to the season. The facilities are complete, including changing rooms, shower rooms, and an onsen pool that can be used privately by 1-2 people at a time. It can be said that it is both relaxing, good for the skin, and good for the heart.

THE VACATIONER!
VISITING SEA LIFE BANGKOK OCEAN WORLD
Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World (formerly Siam Ocean World) is an aquarium in Bangkok, Thailand and is the largest in South East Asia.

THE VACATIONER!
The most beautiful hotel in Bangkok! Undoubtedly, it must be The Siam by the Chao Phraya River.
Strolling through the streets of Bangkok, the ancient name Siam can be seen everywhere, from shopping malls to restaurants and even small shops, all imprinted with this mark. The Siam, where I stayed for a few days, is named in a straightforward and meaningful way. It is not only a boutique hotel for accommodation and leisure, but also a tribute to Thailand's long history. When you step into The Siam, you will find its unique charm. It is more like a private museum, and it is also the most beautiful hotel in Bangkok in my mind.
When I first read about The Siam online, I was deeply attracted by Bill Bensley's signature tropical rainforest design style and dramatic scene layout. But I once mistakenly thought it was just a fashionable design hotel for taking photos. Until I visited it in person and passed through the gate of The Siam, I deeply felt that it was indeed another work of Bill Bensley that I would fall in love with! It also made me more convinced of my idea: if there is only one hotel designed by Bill Bensley in a city, then it must be the most beautiful hotel in the city!
The Siam is so fascinating not only because of its pure black and white decoration design, which perfectly interprets decorative art, but also because of its excellent overall space layout, the magical tropical mirage created by the green leaves of the banana tree in the central water platform of the main building, the beautiful sunset view by the river, and the very considerate and meticulous service of the hotel. All these make it the most worthwhile hotel to stay in Bangkok. The best thing about staying in a hotel by the Chao Phraya River is that every hotel has its own boat, and you can take it several times a day to see the scenery on both sides of the river. The Siam is no exception, especially the boat at sunset, which is really beautiful!

137 Pillars Suites Bangkok~Take Insta-worthy photos at the stunning rooftop pool!
Bangkok is a place where the ancient and modern meet, where the mysterious East and charming West converge, and where history and modern creativity intertwine! These characteristics are perfectly embodied in my favorite hotel, 137 Pillars Suites Bangkok! The 137 Pillars brand was born out of a respect and love for history, and is inspired by traditional Thai culture and architecture. The name 137 Pillars comes from the 137 exquisite wooden pillars of the brand's first hotel, 137 Pillars House Chiang Mai. These pillars are the pride and symbol of the entire building, representing a tribute to and appreciation of traditional Thai architecture, and have become the brand's symbol and source of inspiration.
In the same building is another hotel, 137 Pillars Residences Bangkok. Both hotels are in a great location, and the hotel offers a free shuttle bus every hour to take guests to the nearby EmQuartier shopping mall. The BTS station is also nearby, making it very convenient to get around! I stayed in the Ayutthaya Suite, which has a layout and design that I love, and the view from the balcony is amazing!
137 Pillars Bangkok is best known for its two rooftop pools on the 27th floor and top floor, which offer unbeatable views. There is also a rooftop bar and restaurant, which is a great place to watch the sunset! The overall decor of the hotel's public areas combines modern style with traditional Thai elements, creating a unique and charming atmosphere, and also shows an extreme attention to detail and pursuit of quality. Overall, I think this is a boutique design hotel that is well worth staying at in Bangkok.

One of the most luxurious hotels in Bangkok, Park Hyatt is a must-stay!
Park Hyatt Bangkok is the 40th Park Hyatt hotel opened by Hyatt Hotels Corporation worldwide. The landmark building Central Embassy, where the hotel is located, shines like a silver sail in the city center. It was once the site of the British Embassy, which is where the building's name comes from. The building, which houses both the hotel and a shopping mall, features a series of interlocking curves, and the aluminum panels covering the facade glisten in the sunlight. From the ground, it looks like a sail, while from the air, it looks like an infinity symbol.
The hotel is in a great location! The second floor of the building is connected to Phloen Chit BTS Station, and Erawan Shrine and Central World are just a few hundred meters west along Phloen Chit Road. Central Embassy, the shopping mall downstairs, is one of the most famous high-end malls in the area, and there are entrances to the mall on the first and sixth floors.
The hotel has more than 200 rooms, including more than 30 suites of various types. Due to the irregular shape of the building, the layout and size of each room are different. I stayed in a Park Suite, which was decorated in white and beige, with the same color scheme as the public areas. The cozy, homey style is perfect for photos.
