Belfast cool and breezy Cavehill

#belfast #cavehill #hiking #ireland #uk #belfastcastle After a rainy morning, my son and I made it to Cavehill by public bus from Stranmillis to the city centre then another to Gray’s lane next to Belfast Castle and Cavehill. The walk up was interesting for sure and some trails were quite muddy. By the time, we got to the cave area, I was quite tired from walking up steep slopes. Shortly after that, we walked upwards to the top of the hills and treated ourselves to a nice rest with snacks. The walk down was very easy compared to the walk up. We finished with a wander around and in the wonderful and ornate Belfast Castle.
