Tigre Island is located in the delta area about 30 kilometers north of Buenos Aires. It is said that tigers once roamed here, hence the name 'Tigre Island'. 👫🏻We arrived early at the boat ticket center, completed the ticket purchase procedures, and boarded the Argentine sightseeing boat to start our half-day tour of Tigre Island. 🚢Tigre Island is known as the 'Venice of South America' and is also a wealthy area of Buenos Aires. Like 'Venice' in Italy, the main mode of transportation here is boats. Almost every household has a simple dock and boats. Just like on land, all service items on land are available on water, but the difference is that all services on water are carried out by boats. In addition to water buses, there are garbage boats, postal boats, medical boats, floating supermarkets, delivery boats, water schools, and water churches. 🛥The boat sails between lush subtropical forests, with beautiful scenery on both sides of the river. Along the riverbanks are various villas of different styles. During the one-hour trip, we enjoyed a small boat exhibition. Another beautiful sight on Tigre Island is the water yacht sports. Yacht enthusiasts in Buenos Aires particularly love yacht sports. Since the first rowing club appeared in 1873, there are now six rowing clubs with over a hundred years of history on Tigre Island.
