The Conrad Chongqing's Chinese restaurant is amazing.

The $100 hotel credit can be used for afternoon tea, buffet, and the Chinese restaurant. I recommend the Chinese restaurant because the buffet is only enough for one person at full price. The service is definitely the best in Chongqing, with meticulous mansion-style service, and the welcome tea, fruit, and desserts are all very good. The Chinese team led by Deng Zhixue focuses on classic Sichuan cuisine paired with Western-style desserts. I am still savoring the Yucheng oil-braised soft-shelled turtle and the traditional clear chicken soup with tofu pudding. I also want to try the stir-fried bamboo tripe with green-skinned Nostoc flagelliforme. The environment is amazing! Especially the large private room, with a great view of the river!
