Opening hours: 8:00–18:00 (last entry at 16:30), open all year round. Ticket prices: Peak season (January–November): CNY 25 for adults, CNY 12.5 for seniors and students. Off-season (December): CNY 20 per person. Discounts are available for online ticket purchases. We recommend purchasing tickets online in advance to avoid queuing on site. Transportation Rail transit: Take Line 2 to Zoo Station, Exit 1, and walk to East Gate 2. Bus: Take special bus D299 to Chongqing Zoo Station, or take bus 148, 204, 207, 229, 275, 310, 341, 362, 413, 416, 419, 420, 426, 428, 454, 471, 475, 478, 486 (Xipeng Line), 0493, 822, 1200, or 1265 to Zoo Station. Self-driving: Navigate to "Chongqing Zoo" directly. There are parking lots near East Gate 1 and East Gate 2, but self-driving is not recommended as there may be traffic jams, and it may be difficult to find a parking space when there are many people. Tour route After entering from East Gate 2, walk around the park along the route and exit from East Gate 1. There are currently more than 30 venues open in the zoo. It takes 4–6 hours to visit all the venues. Special dining recommendations There are several dining spots in and around the zoo where you can taste local Chongqing snacks and fast food. You can choose specific restaurants according to your personal taste during your visit. Photo tips Giant Panda House: As one of the highlights of Chongqing Zoo, the Giant Panda House is a must-see for visitors.
