Taifu Temple

#November Destinations 2025 Taifu Temple, a renowned temple in Shanxi, is a vibrant and captivating sight. The glazed tile dragons playing with a pearl at the Ming Dynasty gate are breathtaking. Upon entering the courtyard, one is immediately struck by the original Jin Dynasty structure of the Haotian Hall. Inside, in the spacious area created by the reduced-column design, the Jade Emperor sits solemnly in his shrine. The left-fastening robes of the attendants on either side still bear the marks of the Jin Dynasty. Four-colored dragons cling to the beams and pillars; 800 years later, their colors remain vibrant.
