The end of Germany's Romantic Avenue - Fussen

The second city I went on a self-guided trip to Germany with my son was Fussen. In fact, I only chose to stay here for two nights because I was going to Neuschwanstein Castle. Fussen is a very cute and laid-back German town. Because it was already evening when we arrived on the first day, we simply had dinner on the busiest street and then went back to the hotel to rest. The next day we visited Hohes Schloss Füssen. My son seems to have to eat ice cream everywhere he goes, and Füssen is no exception. As a result, the entire ice cream was stained on the face and corners of the mouth, making the German grandparents passing by smile knowingly🤣 If you are going to Neuschwanstein Castle and are not pressed for time, it is highly recommended to stay one night in Fussen.
