Middle-earth's one and only Greenock.

On the second morning in Queenstown, the sun was shining and white clouds dotted the sky, making it the ideal weather for shooting autumn scenery. Today's destination was the small town of "Glenorchy", 50 kilometers away from Queenstown. It is also known as the "Lord of the Rings" town because the famous New Zealand director Peter Jackson filmed the trilogy of "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" here. Glenorchy has a very small population of less than 400 people, and there are hardly any tour groups or backpackers. If you want to experience this Middle-earth world here and you are not driving, you must join a local tour group in Queenstown. The tour we signed up for yesterday departed at 9 o'clock this morning and drove along the road known as the most beautiful in the world towards Glenorchy. On the left are snow-capped mountains and blue lakes, and in front are golden trees with unique shapes. This is a fairy tale world in autumn, and the scenery along the way is indescribable. You must see the beautiful scenery at least once a year, especially during the time of orange, yellow, and green.
