Catching Mt Fuji on Mt Takao 😍

Feeling adventurous? Try hiking in Japan! Mount Takao is about an hour train ride from Shinjuku Station. Our plan was to hike up the mountain to get some exercise during our holiday. We were blessed with really good weather, so much so that we are able to see Mount Fuji clearly at the peak! It was really a lovely surprise as we had already plan to head over to Mount Fuji area the next day. At the base, there are restaurants and shops which you can have a meal or some snacks before hiking. You can choose to hike up all the way or take a cable car ride up first and continue to hike. This was what we did as we wanted to check out the cable car. It was fun and if you want to choose either to take it up or down, I would suggest taking it when you are returning as the view is better. #japan #mounttakao #mustvisit #mustdo
