At Harbin Sun Island Scenic Area, a spectacular snow sculpture awaits you—the "Xuelong 2." This sculpture, modeled after China's first independently built polar scientific research icebreaker, measures 42 meters long, 10 meters wide, and 11 meters high, using approximately 4,700 cubic meters of snow. It is Harbin's first large-scale snow sculpture themed on a polar research vessel. Created by dozens of snow sculptors from the Sun Island Snow Sculpture Art Expo and intangible cultural heritage blogger Jiang Xunqian, this work not only showcases exquisite artistic skills but also conveys respect for the spirit of polar scientific research.
