If you choose this option like we did, be sure to wear comfortable shoes, because I wore a pair that were really uncomfortable, and my calves hurt for several days afterward). If you choose the less strenuous boat route, it's about 5000 steps on foot, which translates to about 3 kilometers. Tickets: 127.5 yuan for students, 210 yuan for adults. Taking photos on the boat costs 40 yuan per photo with a photographer; you can negotiate a better price now during the off-season (we got 150 yuan for all the photos, including 5 retouched ones). If you want a time-saving and energy-efficient trip and only want to visit this one place, I suggest staying in: Hefeng County, Enshi City, Hubei Province! Because it's much closer to Pingshan Canyon! If you have enough time like us, you can stay near Enshi High-Speed ​​Railway Station and then take a bus to Hefeng when you get to Pingshan Canyon. You can also consider hiring a car or sharing a ride. We were three people and couldn't find a shared ride, so we hired a car and spent the whole day visiting Xuan'en. The local night view is really beautiful. The iron flower performance starts around 7 PM and is basically every ten minutes or so. The local grilled live fish is really delicious, especially the pickled radish flavor – I still crave it now! And the driver we met was super nice and funny!!!
