Hita, a lesser-known travel destination in Japan

☀️ Hita City preserves a significant number of cultural properties and historical sites: the 'Ono no Komachi Tenman-gu,' one of the few remaining Muromachi period buildings in Kyushu, a Kamakura period garden, 'Hita Shrine,' a farmhouse residence built 250 years ago, the Edo period 'Gyokutei Residence,' and the Meiji period 'Seikei Library,' among others. During the Edo period, Hita was established as an important administrative center. The historical relics that have been preserved from the past to the present are scattered throughout Hita, making the entire town a museum. ☀️ The Mikuma River at sunset is so beautiful, with the golden sunset casting its light on old houses, leaves, and the water's surface, marking the sun's final splendor before it sets.
