Soul Retreat at Pilgrimage Village Hue

Nestled in a quiet suburb of Hue, Pilgrimage Village Boutique Resort & Spa is surrounded by lush gardens and offers a peaceful escape. Despite arriving during the rainy season, with overcast skies and a steady drizzle, we enjoyed a cozy night’s rest in a Vietnamese-style room, complete with wooden furnishings, tiles, and a thatched roof. The resort even upgraded us to a Deluxe Bungalow, where we were welcomed by the soothing scent of lemongrass essential oil and fresh fruit. For those looking to visit Hue’s city center, the resort provides a convenient shuttle service, with the last trip back at 9pm. Even in this tranquil setting, there’s plenty to do. We spent time relaxing by the large Slope Pool and enjoyed the serene atmosphere of Peanut Lake. Dining at Junrei Restaurant was a treat, with delicious fried rice and spaghetti, and the buffet breakfast at Valley Restaurant, set amidst the rain, was a memorable experience. The resort’s location is ideal for sightseeing, with landmarks like Tu Duc Tomb and Khai Dinh Tomb just 1-3 km away. After a day of exploration, we relaxed with yoga, tai chi, and luxurious treatments at Vedanā Wellness & Spa, making our stay truly unforgettable.
