Weekend escape from Beijing to Jingdezhen

Start a journey with sleeper train + 🚄 + ✈️～ Arrived in Jingdezhen on Saturday morning, rented an electric bike to start a happy weekend. The weather in Jingdezhen these two days was great, the sun was super warm, giving a feeling of spring. The queue for Xiao Mao’s old-style soup buns was a bit long but moved quickly. They felt like the meat-filled buns from our place, the meat was delicious and slightly sweet, but the radish and chive ones were too spicy, causing a lot of tears and runny nose. The cold noodles had orange peel? A bit hard to get used to. Remember to book the Ceramic Museum in advance, no words for the long queue, probably 1.5 hours wait. It was much smaller than I imagined but very exquisite, and the colleague next to it was also very pretty. The museum exhibits were okay, and I spent a few hours just browsing. The sculpture porcelain factory was dazzling, the deeper you go, the cheaper it gets. So many beautiful ceramics, and the prices were reasonable 😌 I swore I wouldn’t buy anything, and indeed I bought nothing! That takes great willpower, those who understand will understand. The park near Bu Bu Jiao is great for photos, the soil is free, and so am I! Hongdu Thumb is delicious! A low-key version of Cha Yan Yue Se, very tasty! Avoided peak time to eat at Lele Food Stall, the chicken feet were very spicy but delicious, small yellow croaker, and sour radish duck feet were also tasty. No wonder it’s so popular, if there’s no queue, definitely try it. The 798 old factory has many places for plain ceramics and plate painting. I personally have 100% enthusiasm but 0% patience, got bored after painting for three minutes. Anyway, it’s an experience, but my painting was really ugly. I just took a quick stroll around Taoxichuan and then went back to rest. Got up early the next day to go to Sanbao Village. The gas cylinder queue was already 40 minutes long, many classic photo spots required waiting, but the photos turned out great. The scenery on the way was beautiful, and some people were camping and sunbathing there, I was so jealous I almost cried. The last time I was in Nanchang was six years ago, many memories came flooding back when I stood at Bayi Square. Master Li’s peppery ribs stir-fry was super delicious, truly a signature dish. This time I only walked around Tengwang Pavilion outside, enjoying the breeze and sunshine by the river. Thinking about going back to Beijing made me feel down again 😞 Jiangxi Kun Tea at the airport is very good, remember to keep the lid so you can take the clay pot home. Perfect weekend special forces trip ended. Except I caught a cold 🤒 not sure what kind of virus I got!
